SAFAVIEH Abstract Collection Area Rug - 9' x 12', Ivory & Blue, Handmade Wool, Ideal for High Traffic Areas in Living Room, Bedroom (ABT340M)

This is a beautiful rug. It arrived rolled and well packaged. It flattened out quickly. We got the 14’ runner for a long hallway. The tag says this is pure wool. It feels softer than I’d expect for wool, which is great. The pile is pretty short, but we do need to trim one door to fit over it. I expected this before ordering- even the flat washable ones were in the way of the door. The abstract pattern is visible yet subtle enough that it sort of blends in when you’re not looking directly at it. The colors are perfect for what we were looking for and go well with our natural oak floors and pine trim. The orange appears orange, rust, terracotta, or brown depending on the lighting. I included some photos in different lighting to try to show that. We have ours in an internal hall that doesn’t get much natural light. There are specks of a pretty green/gray color, and off white, mixed in with the orange. The rug seems very high quality. I hope it will hold up in this high traffic area, especially with a large messy dog in the house. The dog likes it too and has been napping there since we laid it down.

High quality, beautiful and so soft on the feet! Absolutely no odor or off gassing. Too bad we didn't find this 3 rugs ago! Love it!

We purchased this for our living room. I was curious to see what the color would be like in person and it is a nice camel or caramel color. The rug is a nice thickness. We did not use a rug pad, just some adhesive rug grippers to keep the edges down since it's in a high traffic area. I'm so happy with this rug, it matches our furniture perfectly.

The rug is great. True to size. Thick. Well made. But the pattern is decidedly more stark than it appears in the listing images with the borders more distinct, and the black a bit darker.

Excellent quality, subtle coloration. Arrived well packed. A winner!

Let me start by saying that I purchased this rug in the ivory/blue color in 3 sizes all at the same time; a 5x7, 2’3x4, and a 2x14 (I wanted the 6x9 but it hasn’t been in stock). The 5x7 and 2’3x4 laid flat immediately and stay in place relatively well after placing some rug tape on the bottom of the rug. The pattern is consistent throughout the rug, the colors are subtle but beautiful, and the pile is just right in terms of how it feels underfoot, allows doors to pass over it, and doesn’t create a tripping hazard.The 2x14 however is not quite as nice in terms of quality as the other 2 rugs I purchased. The colors are the same in terms of matching the other 2 rugs, however the saturation of the colors varies much more and almost looks bleached in some spots. The pattern is not as consistent and the edges are not straight, so the rug looks crooked going down my hallway. Another annoyance is that I cannot get this runner to lay flat for the life of me!One more thing to note is that these are wool rugs, and THEY SHED, however they are supposed to as that is what wool does. It’s annoying, but it’s par for the course when ordering a wool rug.Overall, I love safaveih rugs, including the other 2 sizes of this pattern that I ordered, however based on the runner I received I would have to say that I don’t recommend ordering the 2x14. .

I'm constantly changing runners in my kitchen. I couldn't find that "one." Finally, I have! I love any rug made by Safavieh and I have five area rugs in my home. The quality is way above average and they are beautiful. With this runner the only con I have found, which is not an issue with me, it does shed some, it's like a fuzzy shedding from the wool material. It vacuums up fine. This rug is so amazing I'll take one minor flaw. I recommend all of their products. Always happy with them.

Great quality, looks and feels good on my bare feet. Very happy with this rug.
