Bhagavata Purana (A Set of Two Volumes)

This book met and exceeded my expectations for a clear translation of the Bagavatam without the addition of explanations from "bonafide spiritual masters." Vasudeva is perfectly clear and my experience of Bhakti is not tainted with misogyny, classism, or racism. All I wanted is Krishna katha and that's what I got. Thanks.

The initial cost made me hesitate, but after almost completing the first volume, the value far exceeds the cost! For those who have studied The Gita, or The Ramayana, these legends of the Divine are food for the soul.

This takes all the stories of the Divine Bhagavatam and places them in short approachable chapters. A long read, but shorter than others, and with all the good stuff.

Came very well packaged! I was surprised because I anticipated some damages. It is definitely very dense to read but the language is easy to follow and those familiar with Hindu Mythology will enjoy the attention to detail. Totally worth it for the price!! I'm a college student and I have found it enjoyable to read slowly.

I had read other works by Ramesh Menon and enjoyed those titles. These were as good or better. He has a unique way of bringing the reader to the "scene". Thank You Ramesh
