After reading all the great reviews I thought these binoculars were a really good deal. They have really good specs and the price was right. From the get go I thought there was something strange about them. I don't know exactly how to explain it but when looking through them there is kind of a black "shadow", for lack of a better word, around the edges. When looking through the objective lenses I could see all kinds of shapes in there and I believe this is what I was seeing. Like I said, not sure how to explain it. Anyway, I've had many binoculars over the years and don't recall ever noticing that before. But I just got used to it and after awhile didn't really notice it anymore unless I thought about it, which I tried not to do. But then after about 6 or 7 months the left eyepiece came out for no apparent reason. Just "blump" out it came, nice as you please. They did not come with any warranty information and I can't find any way to contact the seller so I guess it is just a loss. I don't remember how much I paid for them but luckily it wasn't much. They are still usable, I just have to remember when looking upward to lower them before moving them away from my face. I would not recommend these or buy again.

WARNING: all the bad reviews about the left eye piece falling out are correct. Don’t buy if you expect a solid product. I received my first order and the left eye piece fell right out. I requested a replacement, which came in a different box but with the same part number sticker, and the eye piece was falling out, too. The issue seems that they simply glued the plastic eye piece into the aluminum frame. Given the different temperature expansion properties of the two materials, inevitably this bond will fail. I suggest getting a different pair from a different “brand” (if there is such a thing with these) if you want them to last for a while. I sent both back for a refund. I expect them to be resold to the next person as they seemed to have been opened before I got them. You’ve been warned.

Just like one other reviewer wrote, the left eyepiece fell off these binoculars straight out of the box ... I never even had a chance to go outside and look for the comet that's going across the night sky. Sending back. I doubt I will reorder another pair of these -- may try to spend a little more and higher quality optics. Not to mention a pair that isn't broken when they arrive.

Great value for the price. Came one week before due date!

Ordered one pair and sent them back because the left eyepiece fell off when you picked them up. Ordered a brand name pair that were awful. Sent them back and reordered these because they were the best low cost binoculars we’ve had. Second pair eyepiece is fine!

These binoculars arrived misaligned, meaning I saw two of one image I was looking at. This is obnoxious to use and causes eye strain. It is more expensive to get a pair of binoculars aligned than it is to buy a new set of binoculars altogether. However, you can't even fix alignment and collimation issues when the screws have been removed, as they were in this pair. Additionally, the left eyecup fell off immediately, which I figured would be worth gluing on if the binoculars were any good at all. Absolutely terrible, don't waste your time or money with these.

Had these for a couple days. Second day I had them the left eye lens popped of and doesn't stay on. Going to have to return them now.
