Daniel Smith is one of the very best brands of watercolor paints. You can't go wrong.

Daniel Smith has the best pigment load and quality.

I wanted this color as I have seen other artists using. I have paint sets and don't usually buy tubes unless I see a color being used a lot. It is an interesting purple grey color.

Consistently quality pigments from this manufacturer. Indigo was a new one to my palette.

This is a red that is perfect for my new painting. The pigment is strong and the paint thick but smooth and I know I will buy again.

I only just recently tried Daniel Smith paints, and I LOVE THEM. I have collected a dozen tubes and about as many of the watercolor sticks. GET SOME! The colors are rich, and I've been learning so much more about granulation and the source of pigments, Their website has lots of info, and lots of online art instructors (especially my favorite, Laura Horn) can show you how to make the most of what you can do with watercolors. Laura uses Daniel Smith a lot -- highly recommend her classes -- some are free, some for $$.I have another new favorite -- BEAM paints, but I think you can only get those direct from the indigenous Canadian manufacturer...

I know this color can be obtained by mixing Pthalo Blue and Raw Sienna, but there's something about this brand's mix that seems hard to duplicate--I think Daniel Smith is the only one manufacturing it and having heard this specific color and brand mentioned by friends, decided to give it a go. It is the hardest colour to describe accurately, but think of beautiful, crystal clear seawater that you'd find on the oceanfront like I do (Tampa, FL), and that's as close as I can get it. Ergo, it has worked beautifully in my seascapes, especially the area closer to shore and works nicely in botanicals. It mixes nicely with other colors to produce really fresh looking greens. I've yet to fully experiment with it. This color and Potter's Pink were this year's exciting discoveries. I like it!

Eu amei a aquarela, a cor bem pigmentada e com excelente expansão! Comprarei outras com certeza.

It blends well with other paints, I used it flower flower painting

Die Farbe in sich ist gut. Nur ich war unaufmerksam beim Bestellen. Die Farbe ist giftig für Wasserlebewesen. Die Tube kam aus England und kostete mir 21,50€. Das war mein Fehler!
