Works well
After one season this replacement has held up well. I'm glad there were two in the package, based on the OEM one stripping after 3 seasons it's nice to know I have a backup.

Proper fit for Ryobi 40V power shaft.
Fits like OEM, just hope the nut lasts longer.My original broke and I probably spent more $ in parts than I did with this 2 pack of clamps.Fits fine, tightens fine, fine value.

Exact Replacement, Easy to Install
The issue with these multi attachment trimmers is that the screw to tighten them tend to strip after a while. Luckily they are easy to replace. Just open or loose the old one as much as possible, twist the entire clamp loose (there is a depression that locks it into place on the trimmer shaft), then keep twisting and pull to remove. Do the opposite to install. I had mine replaced in a minute or so. You may need a rubber mallet to hammer the new one down into place. I bought a 2-pack for future need. Replacement works great.

Seems to work…but how long?
Used to replace the clamping collar on a Ryobi 40 volt power shaft….threaded part just seems “flimsy” and probably will not hold up long to repeated tightening and loosening…hope I’m wrong..but that’s probably why the sell the 2 to a bag….not sure why they can’t offer a clamp collar with a stainless steel cam clamp design. With even a thin UMHW washer below the cam…..would probably last a heck of a lot longer…

Good replacement
Got this to replace the quick release joint on my Ryobi Cordless Trimmer. Fits perfectly and holds all the attachments I currently have for my Ryobi tool.

These were super easy to install - a rubber mallet to help put them in place, but they work perfectly.

Fixed my Ryobi 40 volt trimmer
It took more time to remove old part that stripped in place. But new clamp fits and works great. Cheaper to buy two for next failure!

Works great with my 40002!
With changing the attachments so often this part will wear out. I bought this twin pack at a great price fixed my ry40002 and still have a backup.
