Product works really well - I bought 2 of them and connected them together to make an even larger structure. It's like Legos you can pretty much put it together however you want. I set mine up with a 3x5 and then an extra 2 high on the very left side. I only put in the side covers of each cube on the edge so I effectively have 3 really long cubes with just the poles at the front and back of each intersection.Overall it seams pretty stable - I don't think I would put anything of significant weight on it, but for holding boxes of food and containers with usb and ethernet cables it works well. I think 15 lbs per cube would be the max for the lower level, and subtract about 3-5 lbs per level as you go up.Due to the way the floor of each cube is created it is very stable for holding things that do not take up all of the space. I wanted to put some 3D printed statues on the top levels and it was hard to get them to stay in place because it was a bit uneven, there isn't really anything they could have done to fix that, just the way it is - it's more of an FYI than a complaint.

I like the shelf unit, it is actually a little more sturdy than I thought it would be when removing it from the box. It is a good value for the money. It can be put together many different ways, disassembled, and reassembled if needed to move.

Small apartment with high ceilings. For a space like this you have to take advantage of the wall space and build up. These are great for that. I personally would not put them in a toddlers room if they are climbers

Purchased this to use as a bookshelf for my 2 year old son. It was pretty easy to put together, but does require a little patience, especially if using a different configuration than the one shown in the picture. I ended up building it 4x2 so my son can't pull it over on himself if he tries to climb it, so I have supplies left over for an extra space. It is very sturdy though and holds all his books (even very tall ones) just fine. It also fits storage cubes that I purchased from a different seller with no problem. Very happy with it so far.

Easy to assemble for the most part except that the openings on some of the panels were really tight and hard to slide on. It resulted in me tearing one of the panels during assembly. It would be nice if there were a way to order extra panels. On the plus side, I was able to combine two 9 cube units into one single 20 cube unit (4x5). While it seems to be very sturdy and can hold a modest amount of weight, the structure is very light and easy to move after assembly. For the price and what I needed it for, it was worth it. I'll more than likely buy more of these simply because it is very cost effective storage compared to a lot of other similar styled shelving units.

I bought these storage shelves for my walk-in closet. We are renovating our home and I needed a good temporary solution to get the closet more organized. The shelves are perfect for this, and I bought another set of cubes when I saw how well it worked. It helps that you can build it in different ways to fit the space you need it in.It's very sturdy and although not aesthetic, it works great for what I wanted it for. Highly recommend!!

I love this storage shelf I put it together by myself it took about 45 minutes by my self the hardest part was putting the black sleeves over the poles there are supposed to be 2 different sizes I couldn't tell the instructions are not very clear I kind of had to figure it out myself but over all great buy I'm going to purchase another one for my mom
