Best earplugs I have found - better than foam.
I prefer these earplugs to the foam ones. The foam ones irritate the skin in my ears -- these do not. I do wish there were ones just like this made with bees wax and organic cotton - that would be perfect, and I would be willing to pay a premium for a product like that. But so far I have not found any. So these are the best I have found.

Perfect for blocking noise
Excellent to block out the noise. Almost 90 percent of the noise is blocked.

I will always use these now
Wow, these are way better than I expected them to be!I think I had pre-formed an idea of how comfortable these might be based on my experience with silicone "ball" style earplugs in the past, which I found very uncomfortable, awkward-fitting, and hard. (As well as hard to get a good sound seal with, in my ear.)FYI: These are nothing like that. They warm up when rolling them between your fingers or in your hand quite well in less than 15 seconds (unless you have very cold hands, I suppose), and if you follow the packaged instructions on how to insert and fit them for a good seal, they completely close the opening to your ear quite well, and they are shockingly comfortable. (Do not shove them into the narrow part of your ear canal. These totally seal & rest just over the wider part of the opening of your ear canal, like a boulder rolled in front of a cave, to seal the entrance, and you pulling your ear back a teeny bit and then releasing it will "shift" the ball just so and it will settle right in that area with a nice seal. It sounds like it would be uncomfortable resting there at the "cave entrance," but it's not. They feel great.)The warmth of your ear quickly helps them mold even further to your shape, and I slept all night with them with no comfort issues.I am used to my foam ear plugs shifting a bit and making my ear uncomfortable somewhere in the middle of the night at some point, and needing to be readjusted and reinserted. But not these!I love the fact that these are friendly to the Earth and also make me so happy! The thin swaddling of cotton fiber the balls each are surrounded in, in the case, was a surprise and off-putting at first until I read what it was & was for. Do not stick the cotton stuff in your ear with the ball. Read the instructions and remove it.If there's any drawback it's a slight one, but removal isn't as swift and easy as with other types of earplugs. Don't panic, it doesn't get stuck in your ear--but you'll likely have to pull the shell of your ear back and/or up a little to loosen the seal of the plug while pinching the part of the wax ball you can feel with your fingertips or nails and dragging (or sometimes kind of scratch/rolling) it out.For me this is a minor thing compared to the benefit of one of the only Earth-friendly earplugs out there, and the utter comfort, and how well they work. But if you have a phobia of something taking 5-7 seconds vs. 1-2 seconds to remove from your ear, and those extra seconds would cause you panic, then perhaps opt for something else.

The best and least toxic earplugs
Foam earplugs are made with PVC or polyurethane (memory foam). Both are terrible for your health and it's crazy to put these materials so close to your brain. I feel much safer using Quies's wax and cotton earplugs. Their noise reduction, while not as high as Mack's, is still very good and sufficient for my needs. If there is going to be extremely loud noise in your surroundings, even Mack's earplugs won't be of much help!

Changed
I’ve been using Quies for years . My husband is a terrible snorer we sleep in separet rooms unless we are traveling, these are a lifesaver 😉We recently took a 15 day trip, I only had a few left so I ordered more. They worked but are smaller and didn’t work as well. I had to split one “plug” and form the halves with the two whole ones to get the full fit and noise canceling.Still works great but would rather pay a bit more for the same size.

Excellent!
Maybe the best sleeping ear plugs on the market that I've seen so far. Super clean ingredients and non toxic is what I was going for and I found that in these! Down side is the price. Wish they were half the price. I do use the same pair multiple days.

Not like those sponge earplugs
I have used this product for years. It used to be available only in Europe. I love that I can get it now in the US too. The wax molds perfectly to one's ears and keep noise out effectively.

Hard and Horrible!
I bought these after using Mack's soft wax ear plugs for a long time. I thought maybe something was better. I have to cut a piece of sandwich bag plastic to cover the Mack's soft wax so my hair or pillow doesn't stick to it. Kind of a pain, but it works. So, as soon as I opened these, I saw they are wrapped in cotton, but the instructions tell you to remove it. Hmmm? Ok. I thought this was to maybe help with the sticking issue but if it's removed...?? Anyway. When I took one out of the box, it was HARD as a rock! I peeled the cotton away and tried rubbing it into a pointy ball like the instructions tell you to do. Well, how to do shape a rock? It was almost impossible. I finally got it into a semi pointy shape and stuck it in my ear. I tried and tried to get it to form over my ear hole...and it did after about 5 minutes and a now sore ear. However, I laid down and fell asleep. About 2am, the now super soft rock in my ear now wasn't sticking...and basically fell out. Yes, the little bit of cotton left on the soft rock didn't stick to my pillow or my hair, but no thanks.
