Vintage 1950's Floral Spring Garden Party Picnic Dress Party Cocktail Dress, Style2-Red, X-Large

Holy crap. They are not kidding when they said asian sizes. The torso is super short. If you are taller than 5 feet tall, the torso is too short for you. And the chest area is super tight too. If you have bigger than an A cup, this dress is not for you either.

Purchased the Style2-Red for my teenage daughters Halloween costume. Liked the flattering fit so much, we just bought another style for Christmas! The fabric is on the thin side, but it is opaque. Make sure to consult the brands sizing chart, since the dresses do run small. For reference, she has a 40" bust and 30" waist. The XL fit perfectly.

Got this for my daughter for her red riding hood costume, she absolutely loved it, it fit perfectly on her. Well designed dress, not only holds up for her trick or treating, but really cute for every day wear too, add a black belt to the front and it's adorable.

I wanted very much to like this dress. Unlike some of the other reviewers, I found no problems with the stitching. However, like many, I found this dress to be quite small. I never order an XL. I read the reviews and did as other did, ordering a size larger than I normally would. Still couldn't zip the dress. The fabric is quite thin, but not see-through. As others experienced, it did come with a strange chemical odor. All that said, it's the "Dry Clean Only" on the label that I found most distressing. That instruction is not listed here. Had I known that, I would not have given it a chance. I returned the item.

The dress is very pretty and I ordered according to the size chart but it is a little too large. They material is a little thin but good for the price.

Much lighter weight material than I thought it would be, it's a light weight cotton. I expected it to be a bit heavier, but it will be great for warm weather. Also it looks like a deep red color, but it's a bright red.

Bought it for my wife. She likes it, but the fabric is a little light.
