Posterography Queen

The poster is great. Sums up what Queen is about. As I could listen to their music constantly, I could keep looking at this poster and find more and more references to their songs hidden within the drawing. The artist did a wonderful job and i’m more than pleased with this purchase.

I bought this pen and ink drawing a few months ago on Etsy. This isn't a copy, its drawn in pen on a thick high quality art paper. The detail is simply amazing. The artist's rendition of Freddie is so accurate; it could be a black and white photograph.Because it is black on white, the artist used a bit of red colored pencil to lightly add some color to the "We Will Rock You" in Freddie's jacket, and some yellow to lightly shade his jacket. It is stunning. You could shade in any part of it you want to accentuate.With all the line work, you might think it looks too busy, but I hung mine in a simple clean modern black frame with a nice border between the picture and the frame, and it looks really sharp. I love this piece and would recommend it to any Queen fan who wants a unique piece that doesn't look like a college poster.
