Buying new socks is such a treat, and these are really great. They are soft, stretchy and thicker than my normal socks which is nice for the winter, and they also dry really fast which makes them ideal for traveling. I bought these in early November and have been wearing them for over a month. I took them to the Azores islands and wore them on a few day hikes. They seem to be holding up pretty well so far, and have been through several washes, but I am deducting one star because I am starting to see some pilling on the heels which is something I didn't expect to see after just one month. I do especially like the thick, stretchy opening - these don't give me that awkward sock-line around my ankle. For the price though, at 5 pair for $10, it's all good. I will buy more. Best socks ever! I bought for my daughter 3 yrs ago and have been wearing the green pair - they keep my feet warm and dry! It's hard to find socks to keep my feet dry. I'm so bummed they aren't available anymore. I wanted to buy a bunch for gifts.

I love them they are soft fit perfectly and for the price they are great. They are warm and they do not bind or pinch or slip down into your shoe. The colors are great. I totally recommend them

I had high hopes for these socks as they were well priced and reviews said they did not itch. True. Unfortunately they are not well made. The weave is loose and the material thin. I feel like they will wear out quickly. They stretch very easily and tend to sag around my ankles. Also, the cable pattern is on the soles of the socks. I don't know about most people, but I can feel the pattern and find it annoying. It is very hard to find wool socks to wear with street shoes and not made for heavy snow boots. I guess I will continue the search. Sigh.

The sorts are quite warm. They had a couple issues which the seller made contact with me right away. I work where ther is draft in the floor so I'm looking forward to the same warmth I felt wearing them on Christmas Day.Update-I still love these socks, but they are for hand wash only.

While these are listed to fit a size nine, I wear an eight and they are too short in the foot. Thus, the curve of the heel is in the wrong place. The fabric is a bit coarse, but sufficiently thick and warm.

Like the weave pattern, but the socks don't feel cottony enough. Tough finding socks made with high cotton content. All these petroleum-based fabrics advertised as being cool and absorbent are a bunch of bunk. 90+% cotton or wool is where it's at, but try finding it. Plus, these fiber mixes don't biodegrade!
