Wanted to love them because the TravelJohns are so pricey, but I won't purchase again. While the capacity and absorbency are comparable, the foam lip was just too malleable for me to manage and there were a couple embarrassing mishaps (more embarrassing than having to pee into a bag in the first place) where the lip collapsed or shifted midstream. It's tricky enough to pull off a discreet emergency pee half-crouched in the backseat of a minivan without having to worry about getting it all over your clothes or floorboards. So back to TravelJohn for me.I did appreciate the little trash bags.All that said, these should be no problem for men in any situation. But men can also pee into any random receptacle, so I mean... Shrug.

This product was recommended by a friend as I had never heard of them. I have given some to other female friends. It is bigger than I expected but admit, I did not read the dimensions. Great to keep in a purse or suitcase in case you need in an emergency situation and not close to a restroom or encounter a dirty restroom.

Makes it possible to relax about those awful situations where you're traveling in town or in an unfamiliar locale and can't find a restroom when you really need it. They can be used very discreetly without being uncivilized in almost any location such as a back corner of a parking lot, and you take your "package" away with you without leaving an objectionable and unhealthy situation in your wake. Be an adult. Be a human being. Teach your kids some manners and preparedness.

This product is a life saver for airline flights. My toddler always has to go after we are taking off or in the process of landing. It’s quick to have him go when I have my cardigan wrapped around him. The gel stays in place and I drop this into the barf bag or diaper disposable bags. Every mom should have these in the car and on the plane. It also won’t spill over or splash some of the other products.

Purchased these for long car rides. Some trips can have quite some distance between public restrooms and my kids do not give a lot of notice when they need to go. Haven't needed them for a real situation yet but I tested one with water and it absorbed quickly with no leaks. The white top portion is a foam material so should not be irritating against sensitive skin.

Not exactly what I was looking for. Wanted these for camping to use in the tent. These do not have enough stuff in them to absorb all the liquid that you can put in them. So you can’t easily seal them up, let alone place it on a surface, without it spilling. Never mind using it for a few ‘deposits’ at different times. Kind of wanted something more like a Travel John that goes completely solid with liquid in it, and can be put in the corner of the tent safely. So, we are using these only as a true emergency container in the car, but always with a bag to put it in to dispose of it.

Got these for my elderly father “just in case”. He said that they seemed to be small and was worried how much they held. They don’t seem to come in different sizes from what I could tell. Having not used them myself I can’t say anything for sure, but I liked the idea of them being disposable unlike a plastic urinal.

Does the job, but doesn't have a way to seal the bag after you're finished.
