It got so bad that while taking a shower it was like the ...
Had looked into this kit a few years ago as someone had told me about cycle stop valves. However at the time was on city water so had no need. Since have moved to a house with well water. About half a year after moving in I began to notice a lot of fluctuation in water pressure. I checked the pressure on the tank and it was extremely high so I drained some air. This fixed the issue for about two weeks then the fluctuations returned. It got so bad that while taking a shower it was like the water was pulsing on and off. Knowing this was not good for the pump I decided to get a new bladder tank, when I remember this kit. So I compared the cost for a new bladder take, and this kit. While this kit was a little more than a new bladder tank, by the time I included all new fittings and pipe needed to go with the bladder tank, (the fittings on the old tank were all corroded so I was planning to replace) this kit was about the same cost. So I figured I would give it a try. I could not be happier with this setup. Not only does it keep my water pressure at a constant flow, but take up very little room in the back corner where the old tank was located. I mounted to the way using concrete bolts and it is holding well. Follow the directions, and use lots of Teflon tape, (Had to redo a few fittings because I did not use enough) and you will not have any issues. Also, I had reached out to the manufacture prior to purchase to ask a few questions and they quickly responded and were extremely helpful.

Should have installed this sooner!
Our well water is so nasty that it would probably qualify for Superfund cleanup, and eats plumbing. The Tee on the bottom of our last pressure tank was plugged 95% solid with corrosion, and our showers were a pathetic trickle. We have 5 stages of treatment to make the water usable, at the cost of a significant pressure drop at the faucets.Enter the Cycle Stop valve and small pressure tank. Not only do we have showers that will rip your skin off, but the pressure is constant the entire time! It looks easy enough to disassemble/clean when the water ultimately attacks it. It also seems to cope with the pressure drop across all of the filters better than the old setup. Well pump life was not a concern of mine, so I'm not going to comment on that aspect. If you value a constant flow in the shower, this is the solution.....

One less thing to worry about-Wellpump on-off-on-off....Not any more!
I went round and round considering buying this kit. All I can say is it solved my short cycle pump issues without having to buy a 30 or 40 gallon pressure tank. The included small pressure tank is very good quality and came with a strong warranty. I have stable water pressure whether i'm watering the flowerbeds with 1 gallon per minute load or taking a shower and running the sink and the washer at the same time using 4-5 gallons per minute. You could go buy all the pieces separately and spend an hour or two extra or spend a little more and let the experts put all the pieces in a box for you. I'm happy paying extra to let them do it. It wasn't that much more. Bottom line for me is the whole kit was much less than large pressure tank replacement.

For tight places
I purchased this pressure tank due to the urging from a friend that has installed two of them and has good things to say about this product. I can only review the installation as I have not turned on the well pump yet. The installation was straight forward. FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS. The entire system is compact, and I installed it in my attic at my camp that has limited space. The components seem well made. If you have limited plumbing experience you should be able to get this unit installed. The pressure switch is another story. This part I had my electrician friend install for me. You will need to run back to your electric panel for a new install. If you are simply replacing a tank you should be good to go. The pressure switch is a 40-60 PSI if you want a lower pressure then you will need to replace that switch.

Works exactly as advertised; leaks show up on your electric bill!
I'm going to give it 5 stars but there are a couple of things to consider that I've learned since installing it. It does exactly what it says it is suppose to do. I did the install myself and it was easy...not saying I want to do a well pump install anytime soon, but the PK1A was easy once I got the PVC pieces I need going into the tank and out going from the tank. Anybody can do this! The mounting hardware I received had one piece that was threaded and other was not, rendering it useless. I'm not going to ding the performance for that, but I wasn't happy. The size of the tank makes for no room for any water leaks, water drips, and toilets that don't play nice; your pump will run constantly if you don't take the steps to close off everything that leaks. The tank stores only 1 gallon of water so one flush of your commode will fire your pump up and it will take a few minutes to refill the tank which is exactly what the cycle stop valve is designed to do. A bad flapper or any leads in your system will make it's presence known on your electric bill. There is no check valve that I'm aware of on the cycle stop valve itself. I bought this about 3 months ago and it cost me $349 at the time of purchase and it arrived two days later. You will need 1-1/4" threaded going in and coming out of the valve. Beside a few hardware issues with the mounting and being aware of my electricity usage; it will give you the best hot shower you've ever experienced if you've always had a well system.

Bubble-Up Interactive Radon MUST HAVE!!
We moved into a new house that has a radon water system from R.E. Prescott (Bubble-Up Interactive). The pump was replaced with a Franklin C1 Series 1/2HP 10GPM. The unit would cycle 3 times every time you flushed the toilet, cycled constantly with any water usage and water pressure was always fluctuating. Oh, and adjusting the pressure was a challenge too. A new 40/60 switch had to be adjust to 40/75 to get the pump to turn off without chattering. I bought a CSV1A and kit on Amazon. Installation only took about 2 hours and made a HUGE difference. Every Bubble-Up system should use one of these. Pressure at the pump is 90-100psi, CSV1A is set to 55psi, and everything works the way it should.

but reading all the great reviews I took the bullet and bought it
I must admit I was a bit skeptic of this system, but reading all the great reviews I took the bullet and bought it.I got to say it’s a well designed system and works fantastic, just as described.Happy with it so far.

Easy Install -- Works as Advertized.
We get our water from a lake and filter and process it ourselves. Wanted to ensure we always have good pressure and plenty of water available and this seems to do the deed for us. Easy install for our plumber; we'll see you it does in the long run.

Amazing product
Amazing product. I've had it for over 3 months now and no issues at all. Everything works as expected, 40psi kick on, 60 psi shut off and maintains 50psi whenever any tap is on in the house. All parts necessary for installation were provided. However be sure to apply lots of teflon tape, 7-8 loops per joint as 2-3 I found caused minor leak (small droplets).
