I bought this to use for water soluble fertilizer it works great, maybes i am an idiot i cant work out the ratio . How much liquid fertilizer do i add

First I assume you want to spray your lawn and not just a small spot area.  You need to know a couple numbers first: the square feet of the area you want to spray, and the square feet of the coverage of the fertilizer you want to use.  If you do not know the the square footage of your lawn you will have to physically measure it or go to Google Earth and use the measurement tool to get the square footage.  The second number is printed on the fertilizer container.  Dividing your total square footage (of the area you want to spray) into the total square footage the fertilizer container will tell you if you have enough fertilizer to cover your area, or if you need to buy more.  Since your question is about a "water soluble" fertilizer, the fertilizer container will tell you the mix ratio - "n" scoops, cups, etc fertilizer per "n" gallons of water.  Mix a solution of water and fertilizer that will cover your lawn.  Each of these sprayers will hold 32 oz or 1 quart solution.  For example: if a gallon of your solution will cover your lawn, then you will need to divide your lawn into fourths - one quart per fourth.  But if you calculate that you will need two gallons of solution you will need to use two spray containers of solution for the same area.  One other factor will affect how much fertilizer you put down will be how fast you walk and spray.  Obviously if you sprint across your lawn then you won't use as much fertilizer as you need and conversely if you walk very slowly you will run out of fertilizer solution before you can cover the entire area.  A quick way to determine how fast your solution will be sprayed is to fill one container with colored water (so you can tell when its been emptied) and spray an area with just the colored water.  This will give you an idea as to how you spray at a given speed, adjust your speed as necessary - consistency is the key.

If trying to spray 9oz of chemical per 1k sq.ft, can I just put 9 oz in bottle and just spray that area until it’s gone?

Yes, you just need to make sure your spray is even. The amount of water doesn't matter quite as much.

When "ON" what % mix is delivered?  Assuming the contents of the bottle are being mixed with waterflow but there's no information on the mix.

I have Jack’s 20-20-20 soluble fertilizer  (1 tbsp/gallon of water). How many tbsp and water to put in this hose-on to make the same results spraying?
