I love this planner because of the layout and simplicity. I don’t need a homeschool planner with quotes, self care checks, meal plans and exercise logs. I need a place I can write down the plans! I use a marker and create lines between my subjects (which can fit 8) and has the days listed vertically. There’s an “extra” blank column I hand write the weekly calendar (field trips, doc appts etc) and dinners for the week.

I started using Whaley's lesson planning and attendance book over 30 years ago. I love the product! Also, I met Mr. Whaley at a middle school convention years ago and he was such a nice man. Awesome products!

I have been using this playbook since I started teaching 20+ years ago. I do have use a digital copy to turn in my plans to my admin, but I use this to help me layout my plans for the week and add notes throughout the teaching day. Love the big boxes and how I can make sure all the standards are being taught. It has the months lines up horizontal so I can teach in a checklist fashion for each day/class.

I have bought this planner for many years. This year the manufacturer changed the cover to a paper cover vs. a sturdier haed plastic. I am not a fan at all. The paper cover constantly comes out of the spiral and is not as sturdy for a plan book that gets used so often.

This is my favorite planner and I order it every year. 1 - it is a standard size, not landscape and too long to fit anywhere normal. 2 - The thick plastic cover on front and back keeps it from tearing and getting ruined from spills. 3 - I like the option of it being a 4 or 8 subject planner 4- I like that it is basic. No cute pictures or quotes taking up space from the room I need for plans.

If you are a teacher new or old, you need this Gradebook. It is literally the best.
