The stand fits my needs perfectly. I wanted a stand that would hold my cross stitch stretcher scroll bar and also let me easily turn the cross stitch upside down to start and end different colors. The other holders I had needed to have screws loosened to turn the stitchery over, which eventually wore out the screws. For this stand I added the use a short bungee cord with the usual large hooks at each end to hold the stretcher scroll bar to the stand. This then lets me easily turn over the stretcher scroll bar as needed. As previous readers said, it took time to assemble, but then it would have helped if I had reviewed the pictures first - note that is was easy to redo when I assembled it incorrectly.

For my purposes this is perfect I'm glad I read the reviews. It's very easy to put together there are no instructions just look at the picture. as long as you know to be careful and you're working on something sturdy such as a very heavily starched ehrman canvas like this one you'll be okay. Not meant for fine needlework or embroidery.You'll need to spend money for a really good frame if you're working on something fine. But I needed something small because I'm recovering from shoulder surgery and can only use my left hand! This is perfect. And I was able to put together with one hand.just saying.Had absolutely no problem getting my canvas on here it's not tight but I didn't want it to be that being said it also doesn't move I really just needed it to be a second hand and it's perfect for that. The clamps on mine are far too tight. I had to replace them to make the frame usable. I got "Snap Clamp EZ white 1/2" x 4" wide for PVC pipe" (10 per bag). The EZ snap clamps are still very snug, but I can remove them without too much trouble. The original long hard clamps that came with the frame ruin fabric and can't be removed even with the fabric strip method pictured. I had to take the entire frame apart to slide those clamps off the rods- ridiculous. So, the EZ clamps are an improvement. The frame rods are about 3/4" in diameter, which apparently requires clamps that fit 1/2" PVC pipe (in case you're wondering why the EZ clamps are the 1/2" size, not 3/4"). Also, the frame was wonky, like the joint threads were a touch out of alignment, so it took some fiddling to get it reasonably squared up. But it's decent overall, once I straightened out the frame and got the usable EZ clamps. I like the size and hands-free ergonomics, it's light-weight and versatile in how to position it. Worthwhile if you don't mind possibly needing to replace the clamps.

I was so excited to get this product and now I regret it so much that I am writing this on the same date I got it delivered. While it’s easy to build for the most part that’s the only good thing I can say. Putting my project in was the hardest thing and it ripped into my fabric where the design will be in four places. It’s hard to even get the fabric on and clamp it down on all sides and even harder to take it off I had to completely take it apart to get the fabric out would not recommend especially for large full coverage projects. I wasn’t even a able try and stitch on it even after taking it apart to put cloth strips in between my fabric and the claps. It didn’t rip more wholes into my fabric because it caught the cloth but it was even harder to take apart. I just hope the wholes won’t make it too hard to finish my pattern. I don’t know it it’s a goo or a bad thing it’ll take me months before I Get to this sections.

I do a lot of cross stitching and I need a good stand. I have spent a lot of money trying many different ones, but I like this one best. Because the price is so reasonable, I have one for each project.

I had shoulder surgery and needed something to hold my cloth for cross stitch project. Wasn’t super tight, but taut enough. I could adjust as needed and didn’t ruin the aida cloth. I will continue to use after recovery as this item is very convenient. Highly recommend.

Je l'ai acheté car il se défait et léger à transporter.Il faut savoir qu'il est difficile à défaire car les supports sont très très serrer sur le cadre.Truc, ajouter une pièce de tissu entre le support et le cadre, celui-ci vous aidera à le défaire.Je l'aime bien.
