Cyndi Lauper's second album was a step away from her first album 'She's So Unusual', but it showed the world what Cyndi Lauper was truly capable of. "True Colors" opens with energetic, powerful second single "Change Of Heart". The Bangles did background vocals and legendary disco chef Nile Rodgers played a guitar. Other memorable songs include "True Colors" (one of the biggest hits of 1986 and deservedly so) followed by "Calm Inside The Storm" co-written with Rick Derringer, "Boy Blue" (single that flopped, maybe because that public wasn't ready for a serious Cyndi Lauper) and "What's Going On" (beautiful cover of Marvin Gaye's classic re-arranged by Adrian Belew & Cyndi Lauper).

Overall a good product, slightly deceiving marketing
It arrived opened not factory sealed, but it was not damaged. It was placed inside of a cellophane resealable jacket. On the jacket is a sticker stating that t it is a “limited edition of 2500 numbered copies on flaming vinyl “ it is a nice orange colored disc however it’s number is 28,872 which is way higher than 2500, so can’t give it more stars. The sound quality is fine.

The sound quality of this album is excellent, as if it's being released as a new record in 2018. Anyway, this has always been one of my favorite Cyndi Lauper albums despite what critics or other listeners might say negatively about it. I've always been open to artists being able to experiment with their music styles and directions with every album release; so I know I wasn't expecting "She's So Unusual, Part 2" but a totally different style.

Rushed release?
A couple of good songs but you get the feeling the record company was rushing to put out another album. It is OK, but weak compared to She's So Unusual.

Cyndi Lauper - "True Colors"
This is Cyndi Lauper's second studio album. It was released in 1986. It's a good album, but not as exceptional as the previous one. The highlight tracks are "Change Of Heart", "True Colors" and "What's Going On". However, there are other good tracks. It is quieter than the previous but maintaining the quality and versatility of Cyndi. OK! Note 6.5.

Qualita audio scandalosa.. volume bassissimo. Packaging eccelso ma se il vinile suona cosi non ci siamo. Potrebbe essere una copia difettosa, ma a quessta cifra potrebbero fare un controllo qualita piu accurato. Restituito. Un grazie ad Amazon come sempre il miglior negozio online, assistenza e servizio veloce ed impeccabile. Provate a comprarlo se sarete piu fortunati di me avrete una copia da collezionisti di un album incredibile.

vinyle MFSL, un placement ?
Ce disque MFSL est d'une qualité de pressage remarquable contrairement à d'autres enseignes ... mais ce qui fâche c'est le tarif proposé par Amazon, d'autant plus qu'il varie très régulièrement du simple au quadruple selon l'offre et la demande visiblement alors que le prix d'usine, lui ne change pas, c'est inadmissible. Au USA, lieu de pressage, ces disques sont vendus entre 24 dollars et 34 dollars, 24 pour celui-ci. Je regrette profondément qu' Amazon augment considérablement les tarifs de ces disques. Les taxes ne justifient pas un tel écart, les disques ne sont pas des placements, merci à Amazon de veiller à ne pas jouer les "golden boy" sur ce type de produit !
