So glad I purchased this!!! There was way too many to choose from. I am a beginner in guitar and did not know what I was missing. I didn't even know what to look for in a capo. I just took a chance and this one works perfectly. Never have a problem using it. Very nice looking and classy. Can't imagine anyone having a problem with it. Its not real heavy( maybe a little bigger than the non spring capos)The bronze one is beautiful - some shine but very soft. It is easy to move around and grasp with one hand. No buzzing! Can't go wrong on this one!!

The finish was exactly what I expected from the product photo. It appears to be very solidly constructed. I expect it to last over 20 years (like my last capo). Very easy to put on and take off and it doesn't distract in appearance from my beautiful guitar. Only time will tell whether the spring continues to provide enough holding power, but my impression is that it will.UPDATE: Purchased a second one

Solid product. Fits my ESP LTD 7 string just fine, tension is strong and the curve that holds onto the back of the neck is shaped just right for the slim shred style neck. I can also do full bends and the string doesn't stay sharp, i.e. the kapo holds it in place well

Very cool CAPO! Much easier to use than my older one. Because I have bad arthritis in my hands I found these MUCH easier to put on and take off. It also functions quickly and perfectly with no adjustment necessary afterwards! Very happy with my purchase and that I had purchase several of them for my various guitars! Super item and seller!! There are times when it is worth paying a little more for something that works well and will last a long time. That's how I feel about this purchase. Even though I've only used it for a short time, it works well and seems very solidly built. I bought a cheap capo on Amazon previously and it wouldn't hold the guitar strings down-so basically worthless. Yes, I was refunded the money for it, but the hassle made it a poor buying experience. I had confidence that this capo would work by the many good reviews. Also, Soundsmith's customer service emailed me before and after receiving the capo wanting to know what they could do to help or if there was anything I was not pleased with. And with a no-hassle lifetime guarantee, it's hard to go wrong.

Solidly built. Nothing at all like the old screw-fastening one I had years ago. Clamps tight, no buzz, and the silicone doesn't mark or mar the necks on my electric or acoustic.The clamp feature makes one-handed operation a breeze and quick.
