I decided to buy this because so many people gave it a good review....at first my kids love it and so did I. It was pretty and it was easy to set. However, the batteries only lasted a week. I bought better batteries and same thing. Only a week. I cannot replace these batteries weekly. That's not cost effective. I will most likely return and get a different clock. I wish this had a plug. May be a good travel clock but not a permanent clock. So disappointing.

Great at first. Daughter loved it when she got it for Christmas. Then...it’s true quality showed and she was left very disappointed. Batteries don’t last long. And within a few weeks, the display faded away and you could only see it at certain angles. A couple weeks after that, the time started always resetting and was consistently wrong (and got harder to reset as the display worsened further). The alarm stopped working. In fact, the only thing still functional on this cheap piece of plastic waste is the nightlight feature - but even that has lost a couple colors. So I’m sure there isn’t much time left for that either.I came on to Amazon to finally see about returning this only to realize I missed the return window. How do you avoid this happening to you? Easy, don’t buy it. But, if you already trusted the 4-star reviews and bought it - when it first shows signs of malfunction, it’s the beginning of the end. Don’t let it drag on, it will only get worse. Return immediately.

This product really surprised me with how simple and effective it was. The settings can be adjusted easily, the interface is simple but informative, and the design of this clock is fairly aesthetic. As a college student, I use this clock to manage my time in the morning while getting ready, as well as when I'm studying. By using this clock, instead of my phone, I am able to maintain productivity without getting distracted by other electronics.The only downside that I found was the tone of the alarms provided. The melodies and rings are fairly soft and soothing, and not enough to abruptly wake someone from slumber. Regardless, I will definitely be ordering more for some of my loved ones this holiday season!

I ordered this alarm clock for my 10 year old daughter - I thought it would be easy for her to use, and she would enjoy the light up colors, but it's not as great as we had hoped. We are going through batteries fairly quickly, probably because she enjoys using it as a night light. Of course, you get what you pay for. I would recommend it if you didn't need it as a night light, but just an alarm or clock. Colors are beautiful.

I read the reviews, it seemed pretty good as I had read. When I got it, the set-up was a bit challenging, it is kind of hard to figure out and you have to punch many buttons to get it set. To turn off the alarm, you have to turn it upside down and press the right button labeled "alarm" in order to shut it off. The plus side of this is that you have to be alert & awake in order to figure it out, the downside is that you have to be alert & awake in order to figure it out. I wanted something that would force my 11yr old to get up, and if you're not fully awake, you definitely are by the time you do get it to shut off. It takes batteries, not a plug in. I feel this may use too many batteries in time but it is LED and not over powerful to drain. It is cute,the colors are nice, but for me it is 3 stars for difficulty in operation overall.

Ordered this for my granddaughter based on the positive reviews. The colored backlight does not work. I have emailed the seller. If the issue is resolved, I will update my review.The seller was very responsive in sending a replacement. In fact, they sent 2. Both work exactly as stated. Super cute.. the kids love them!

I was actually pleasantly surprised with this product. It felt very lightweight up receipt but it was pretty easy to set up even without instructions. I did need to check the instructions it came with to change the temperature from Celsius to Fahrenheit. It’s a good size for an older toddler and child especially one learning to tell time. If yo gently push the top of the clock, the light turns on and then it changes colors. Another light push turns off the light. This would make a great clock and nightlight for my 7 year old. Overall, it’s a good price for a decent clock. This would make a cute gift as well.
