Dampeners are all about subjective personal preference in ping/clunk sound and vibration feel. These reduce the ping and the vibration effectively. Easy to install in between the strings and being round there is no up/down/left or right to worry about. If you hit the tennis balls BOTH hard AND erratic these things might pop out of the strings occasionally(similar to most other button style dampeners), which was my experience the first few weeks after returning from a prolonged injury, however I have since realized that I was just swinging off-target before. No issues with them flying out anymore. But if you've had issues with "button" style dampeners flying off your strings with regularity, then these will likely do the same, so if that's your concern, then you might want to get a "worm" style dampener instead.

Only infrequent incidences I've had with them flying off have resulted from a few egregious mishits, but I think that's how it is for most dampeners of this style. So they're perfectly fine as far as I'm concerned and work quite well for me.

These don't really stay in very well. Any solid shot sends them sailing in various directions and leaves you looking around like you've lost a contact.
