This is my second purchase of this case. Nothing wrong with the first- my grandbaby just co-opted it as his newest favorite toy/teether! It was easier to sacrifice the case than the phone, so I had to order a new case for myself.I was surprised to see this case had less than 4 stars. Upon reading the reviews, it seems the primary concerns are that it seems flimsy and that it doesn’t provide enough coverage on the front. I can address both of those issues.First, it is made of a flexible silicone or rubber-like material, but once you put it on the phone, it feels solid. The flexible material, though, has provided great shock absorption for the many times I’ve fumbled my phone when I fail to use the wrist strap!Second, while the case doesn’t have a large side profile, there is enough of a lip on the shock-absorbing edges to protect the screen when dropped or placed on a flat surface. I’ve even dropped my phone face down on the concrete drive and the screen was perfectly fine.I obviously like this case since I am making a repeat purchase. I will never buy another one without a wrist strap. I don’t use it as regularly as I should, but it has saved me from dropping my phone while taking pictures in precarious situations. Finally, the protection provided has been reassuring, and comes without the weight and bulkiness of many competitors.

I'm usually pretty good with my phone... except when I travel! I just returned from a 10-day trip with a carry-on & a backpack; 8 cities in Europe & 8 planes. This case & a passport wallet were my best friends! It was funny seeing people's reactions when I would let go of my phone (if they didn't notice the strap), lol! The edges are not even with the phone so it protects the screen & camera from coming in contact with surfaces when you place it down. All buttons & openings line up good (iPhone 7).

I bought this for my mom so she could carry her phone around. The first one we got was for the wrong phone, so we had to deal with trying to get the correct one we ordered which was a bit annoying. Otherwise she enjoys the case, and it seems more protective than I thought it may be.

I was looking for an iPhone 8 case with a strap, since I was going to use my phone as my camera for a trip abroad. It is pretty light—so I don’t know how long it will last. But for the trip, and so far for another, shorter trip later, it worked great.

The case is nice, but doesn't sit high enough to really protect the screen. Also the charm attachment is on the left of the phone not the right (as pictured) Does come with the lanyard pictured
