Pug’s Snow Day: A Branches Book (Diary of a Pug #2)

My 7 yo daughter loves this series! She’ll be entering 2nd grade in a month and these are a great transition into chapter books. Longer stories, but still has lots of cute pictures to keep her interest.

This is a delightful story for the children in your life. I like the fact that there are drawings to accompany the story line and are on each and every page. So cute...(Later in the story I found out that Bub is an adopted pup...so that made it even better). Spoilers follow so be prepared....Baron von Bubbles, aka Bub is the cutest pug ever! He tells about some of his favorite things and then tells some he does not like...including snow... He doesn't like to get wet so Bella tries to make him comfortable when going outside...Some booties!Snow days arrived and Bella and Bub have fun outside sledding and playing....A new neighbor moves in and Bub thinks it is a huge animal. Bub is so afraid of the new animal although he has only seen his footprints through the fence. Would a play date help?Will Bub become friends with Luna?? Will he get used to snow?Delightful story for children which I thought was priceless.Most highly recommended.

This is a great book for students who are transitioning from picture books into chapter books. I would recommend it for advanced 1st graders, on level 2nd graders, or 3rd graders who need more practice readInc and aren’t ready for full chapter books yet.

My students love these books! Everyone wants to finish the series and it is all they talk about.

Great for early readers who want to begin chapter books. The pictures keep the reader engaged and interested to keep going. This is the 2nd pug book of the series and my daughter can’t wait for the next release in July. Hard to find a similar book with pictures that isn’t super long for early readers.

My 6-year-old enjoys reading this series a lot. We’ve read each book for a couple of times.

My nephew loves these books, they have all coloured illustrations all through. Lovely for any pug loving child
