A weightlifting belt is worn across the belly above the hips and below the ribcage. It should be tightened until slightly uncomfortable, but not so tight that you have to suck in to buckle. During the lift, tighten your core muscles as normal, but do not try to "push" against the belt. If the belt moves during the lift, it is either too loose or in the wrong place. The Best Belt
I have owned and used many belts, but this is, without a doubt, the best. It is a well made, high end, custom crafted quality belt. If you are a serious lifter, and lift heavy, based on the belts I have seen and used, this is the belt to own. I think you would be hard pressed to find a better made belt. Well worth the money!!!

This is my first belt and I don't really have any point of comparison. But as per the product itself, I've been using it for all of my main squats and OPs. Feels great.

Best belt I've ever used and the last...
I have a 4" 10mm belt and it's nice but hard to set my back properly on deadlifts so I researched and heard Mark Rippetoe talking about using a 3" belt. I sought after the belt and after multiple failures on paypal (on dominion strength website) I found the belt here and ordered it. I wanted a different color but it was not available here on amazon. Though it's not the color I wanted, I LOVE this belt. It will be last a lifetime (the quality is impeccable). I have no issues using it for all of my lifts.
