Very well made and functional, high quality, soft and very quite
Very well made and functional, the material is high quality, soft and very quite. This is very important for wildlife shooting. All seems all taped and water prof. It is very fast and easy to deploy. In addition to rainy days I also use it during very cold days in order to keep the cold wind off my shooting hand. I think they have a new model now that has a hand pockets for both hands. You can also role it out toward the lens hood and secure it to the hood and get it out of the way between the rain storms.

Great for the seashore
This is a very well made camera raincoat. It feels substantial and is versatile, fitting many different lenses. I have used mine with Nikon's 80 - 400 zoom as well as the much longer Nikon 500mm F4.0 tele. There are enough straps to control the fit even as you shoot shorter tele lenses. Like all rain gear, it does make the camera somewhat less accessible, but not so much that I ever took it off. The Raincoat was large enough to cover my Wimberley Sidekick gimbal mount as well as the long lenses. While it would have worked with any of my Nikon DSLRs, I've only used it with the D500 so far.

Worked Amazingly Well
I purchased this Lenscoat Raincoat to protect my new Nikon 600mm VR lens. During a trip this past summer to Minnesota to photograph wild black bears I got to test it out for hours. An hour after arriving at the photo location it started to drizzle so I put the raincoat onto my lens. Being the first time I used it I was surprised at how easy it was to put on. Good thing I did as the rain only got heavier over the next hour or two. My lens and camera stayed bone dry which was why I got it in the first place. For the price, it's very cheap insurance to keep your gear dry. I took it off later that morning and put it over the seat in my rental car....it dried very quickly which impressed me. Comes with a nice storage bag and folds very flat so it fits into my camera bag nicely.

Very good, a few issues
This product is very good. It keeps the camera and lens dry and clean, protects it, and adds camo for wildlife shooting.A few issues that I have are, it is a little bit of a pain to put the cover onto the lens, there is a lot of velcro, straps, and you have to slip it over the lens, make sure the drawstring and velcro aren't around the lens foot, etc. The front opening of the cover near the lens hood has a velcro closure on the INSIDE which is a pain in the neck because when you are trying to put the cover over the lens, you have to try to hold front open so the velcro on the inside doesn't close shut and block the lens hood from going through. I am not sure exactly what the velcro does on the inside other than perhaps add a slightly tighter fit when wrapping the opening tight. The other straps are kind of challenging to loop through the d-rings and then reverse and strap them tight, since there is a lot of material that is bunched up when you are tightening it.Finally, an inherent disadvantage of the cover is that you cannot see or operate the switches and other controls on the lens, which makes shooting difficult when you need to adjust things like the IS mode, focus range switch, etc.Still, a great product which does what you need it to, better than any other rain cover on the market that I am aware of. I use the cover even when it isn't raining, for the protection from contaminants, and for the camo. I recommend it, especially for wildlife photography; just be aware of the annoyances/challenges noted above.

Essential
Having used it for more than a year now it has become and essential part of my kit. I have been out in rains that one should not be shooting in with this cover and it does it's job perfectly, never once letting my equipment get wet. I also take it on sunny days to give the camera some protection from the sun.

Extremely Disappointed with Lenscoat Camera Rain Cover
Unfortunately, my experience with this product and the customer service from Lenscoat has been nothing short of disappointing.Upon receiving the camera rain cover, I immediately noticed several manufacturing defects that significantly affected its functionality and overall quality. It is disheartening to spend $100 on a product only to receive something that falls far below the expected standards. The defects were evident, making me question the quality control measures employed by Lenscoat.Adding to my frustration, Lenscoat's customer service failed to address my concerns adequately. Not only does the company refuse to cover the cost of return shipping for defective products, but they also expect me to wait for weeks to receive a replacement. This delay in receiving a functional rain cover is unacceptable, particularly when time-sensitive photography assignments are at stake. As a last resort, my wife has offered to sew the product herself to make it usable. It is absurd that as a customer, I am forced to consider such measures to salvage a brand-new product that should have met the promised standards in the first place. In conclusion, I cannot recommend this product to fellow photographers who rely on quality gear to protect their equipment. Lenscoat needs to reassess its quality control processes and customer service policies to deliver on its promises and regain the trust of its customers.

Decent with flaws
Decent with flaws, first of all the price of this is absolutely ridiculous it’s nothing more than a waterproof cover basically a fabric. It is very cumbersome while it is on the fabric does get caught in between your zoom lens when zooming back in so you have to zoom out and hold the fabric up. The other problem is when you tighten up the fabric around your lens which I am using a 600 mm the fold winds up on the side so if it’s raining or snowing it creates a waterproof channel where the water collects so you have to be careful when leaning forward or backwards because the water that built up will pour right back out. For this price I would suggest getting throwaway ones they will serve the same purpose.

Great rain cover
Using it with a Z6ii and Sigma 150-600 lens combo and it is a perfect fit with lots of room to expand. Easy to put on and remove. A bit expensive but does the job well.

Item was just as advertised. I purchased this for my 500mm F4 Nikon lens. Used it several times - very easy to put on and takeoff. Also very easy and convenient to carry. I would highly recommend this to any photographer. A quality item which is well made.
