Discovery EXPEDITION Womens Boot

I live in the PNW and I went to 6 different stores trying to find reasonably priced hiking boots for women. The only place that even offered over-the-ankle hiking boots for women was REI but I cannot spend $150+ on a pair of hiking boots right now. So I turned to the internet. I love the way these boots look, they're fairly stiff so they protect my toes well, and they're pretty good at keeping water out as well. Unfortunately they aren't the most comfortable boots. They're a little too stiff; especially in the back. The entirety of the back shreds my heel. I've worn them on three different hikes hoping to soften them up but so far nothing has changed; I have to wear two thick pairs of hiking socks in order to give my heels some relief. And these boots fit correctly so I know this is not due to my foot having too much/too little space. I will attempt to soften the back of these boots with some sort of cushion/moleskin lining but they really shouldn't be this painful to begin with.

Awesome hiking boots!! The heels are thick so you can step on anything and not feel it. The color looks so cute! I got the sand and pink boots and honestly they are the cutest hiking boots I've ever seen. I've been hiking in them and they are exactly what I wanted as well as comfortable. Perfect combination of comfy and cute!

I got these for a 9 day trip to Spain. My boys wanted to do a hike or two, but we were packing light and not checking bags, so I needed them to work well but also be cute for touristy stuff. I was sacrificing bringing nice leather brown booties for these, so I wanted to like them. I got them and wore them around the house a couple times before the trip, but that's it. I got a size 8 and they were true to size and were fine with thick hiking socks too. I wore them on a 10k hike in the mountains over rocks and in the forest. No hot spots on my feet at all. I also wore them on a 12 hour day, standing and walking, and standing again on an hour long train back from Montserrat. My feet were tired but free of issues. Seriously impressed by these boots and the price was great. Also, I just liked wearing them around town too. Not bulky and ugly.

I love these boots! They are so cute and surprisingly comfortable, I loved that I didn't have to break them in or anything. I bought these for a trip to Iceland and they were the best! They are very true to size, so if you plan on wearing thick socks, I'd recommend sizing up. These were pretty warm for me and I was okay wearing thin ankle socks with these.

I live in Arizona, where you can find hiking any time of the year. I've had these about 6 months and absolutely love them! The fit wonderfully and tighten up nicely. I love the touch of the pink. The traction is great on these even after weekly hikes for the last 6 months. The higher ankle really helps support the ankles after my break last year. My feet don't get sweaty any more than usual in the AZ heat which is a major plus! I highly recommend these boots!

I like everything about them including the suede cinnamon shade with a pink leather looking cuff umcludong extra pair of pretty laces in bright fuschia pink color to match the top They are super flexible comfortable. Warm. Fit perfectly. I wear a shoe size 9.5 and got size 10. The best part is the soles are good for walking and grip the ground covered in wet leaves and snow. It also seems they are water resistant and u can’t beat the price of 59$!

Great shoe. The ankle support saved my ankle countless times as i hiked the Appalachian Trail with friends. But one advice i have, which i wish i knew before i purchased - make sure to buy a half a size higher! My toenail kept hitting the shoe when we hiked downwards, and it's all black and blue, and numb because of the fluid build up (causes pressure), and now i have to see a doctor to help release the fluid. Great trip though otherwise. 20 mile hike - and these shoes were great! Just get a half size BIGGER for the sake of you feet!
