Perfect fit. I had one similar back in 1995 that I bought at the Parris Island PX but it was lost around 1998. It had a red garnet with the EGA attached to it. This one looks WAY better than that one did. Would DEFINITELY buy again!!

I didn't give it 5 stars as the gold coating is rubbing off/fading in a rather short period of time. That being said, this ring is awesome. First impression was it is a solid ring with good weight to it. The fit is comfortable with no sharp or jagged edges. Since purchasing, I have worn it daily and banged it around with no effect on the ring. NO scratches or dents of any kind. Outside of the color fading, this ring is as good as the more expensive alternatives out there. Now it looks a little more antiqued.

This ring is identical in appearance and quality to the Jostens ring I purchased as a Marine recruit at Parris Island. I love mine. It is heavy and durable. It is my favourite of 5 military rings I own, most of which were way more expensive.

My Marine son loved it and wears it proudly!..well made..heavy..just like the one he had from Parris Island and lost while swimming.
