I live in an area with industrial composting so I need a large compost bin in my kitchen. The compost bins marketed as such are either way too small or poor quality. This works great bc is has the removable pail with handle for carrying outdoors, and it is the right size for large kitchen compost bags.

This has been a great little trash can. The inner can fits a plastic grocery store bag just perfectly. I use mine in my tiny kitchen, the lid fits snugly so it keeps any smells contained. There is a bit of rust appearing in the screws on the inside (where moisture might be found) but I don't care. It's easy to clean, looks nice and works well.

It arrived with a dent but I was able to pop it back out.I was unable to open the cabinet door in our bathroom with the Simple Human trash can we had but now I am able to put the largest package of toilet paper into the cabinet without removing the trashcan from its corner first.I will say when purchasing specialty trash bags from Amazon meant for the 6-10 gallon opposed to just sticking with our nice Costco 13 gallon trash bags, I was disappointed in the fact that the Costco ones reach deeper, they are stronger and the lid closes just as well with the standard trash bags. There was relatively zero gain from using trash bags advertised as being perfect for this shape of trash can.My final image depicts how you would wedge the trash can lid open. Our other trash cans have this feature and I use it quite frequently. It might be nice for buyers if the seller would take pictures of this and add them into the product imagines provided.I was surprised at how large this trash can really is but as mentioned previously I really needed this shape of a trash can in order to not have to remove the trash can when I come home with our groceries that go into that cabinet. Before I would have to remove the trash can in order to organize the products in such a way that they all fit.
