HK-Part LCD Screen Hinges Set for Acer Aspire E5-575 E5-575G E5-575T E5-575TG, Left + Right

I purchased these when the hinge arm for the screen of my Acer Aspire E5 broke. The parts arrived on time and appeared to be of good quality. However, when installing, I noticed all of the connections points on the laptop had a metal insert in plastic. Not surprisingly, unless you are an Acer design engineer, apparently, the plastic was broken, and there was no good way to connect the arms to the laptop. I assume you are facing a similar situation, or else why would you be reading this review, and let's face it, Acer didn't just manufacture my laptop with inferior design and materials. My overall suggestion is to backup your laptop now, throw it in the trash, and never buy another Acer product. A quick internet search will show that you are not alone. This lemon of a laptop has this as a common problem, and Acer has laughed all the way to the bank, ripping off consumers.

The part was complex to put in but with the hinge damage to my laptop, it definitely was better than other options. It did not quite fit my Aspire E 15 (E5-573G-52-G3) but I am hopeful it will hold. Even if I had the exact part, there was plastic damage to my cover which prevented some screw connections. At this point, I am being gentle with the laptop and having my fingers crossed.

Replaced one of the hinges on my E5-575G that had broken. Followed some youtube instructions and went in without a hitch!
