A & I Low-Back Universal Lawn Mower Seat - Black, Model# LMS2002

This seat attached easily to our old tractor mower. Hubby couldn't be happier unless someone else did the mowing.

I own a late 90’s Craftsman garden tractor 917273021. This seat is simple, sturdy, and 2 bolt holes worked while 2 others had to be added to my seat mount plate. Bonus surprise, its made in Europe (well transcontinental anyway).

This seat is a good replacement for the seat on my 19 year old Craftsman 42 inch lawnmower. It took me longer to get my mower out of my shed than it did to replace the old seat. I’m hoping this seat lasts as long as the original OEM seat.

I remove the mounting studs from the old seat on a Craftsman tractor and installed the studs on the new seat. It took about 5 minutes. The first seat lasted 20+ years, if I get 10+ years out of this one, I will be happy.

Seat is comfortable and fits fine, but had to elongate the lawn tractor mounting plate slide holes to move the seat far enough forward.Not a problem though. Just drilled 2 small holes and enlarged with a step drill to lengthen the seat bracket slide holes.

Definitely better than before… dare I say better than oem???

I rebuilt my 2001 Craftsman Lt1000 and the last part I ordered was this seat. The bolt pattern wasn't exact but I was able to make it work. Especially given the money I saved over an OEM model. I'd definetly buy this seat again. Your butt will be happy 😊
