The clock was pretty easy to set up. Directions were unclear on how to enter the year but once you are done setting the current time the next option is setting the year - you must have the correct year so the right day of the week shows up with the date. This part was not in the printed instructions so I hope this helps someone else.Cons:-The battery cover comes off fairly easily, thus the batteries pop out easily. Every time the batteries come out you have to reset the entire clock. Sigh.- It is battery operated so you will go through batteries fairly quickly (about every month or two) and this creates more expense and more waste.- Our alarm is quirky. We must set it for PM in order for it to chime in the AM. 🤷🏻‍♀️- Speaking of the alarm, there is no way to set what days you want it to go off so you must manually turn it on or off every day. With a loose battery cover, turning it over to do this can be a hassle.- All the buttons to control/set the clock are on the bottom. It makes for a clean display but it doesn’t make it easy to work the actual alarm. This does not effect turning the alarm off, however, as pushing down on the unit does that.- On another note regarding the alarm, I was under the impression there were “nature” sounds. Ours has the typical alarm chirps and a few songs.- The lights do not turn off automatically. Huge battery sucker.Pro’s:- The alarm chimes at a perfect level. It won’t wake up the entire house/neighborhood.- My daughter really loves the temperature display. Even though it shows the room temp and not the outside temp it helps her gauge how to dress for the day.- The face of the clock/ display is a great layout. My daughter loves that it says the day of the week as well as the calendar day.- The lights are very pretty and soothing.- Small, lightweight, and compact, great for a child or traveling or a smaller space.All in all, I wouldn’t purchase again. The fact that it is battery operated only is a huge turn off for me and I gave it a try thinking it may change my mind (but it hasn’t). I’m not displeased enough to return it, and my daughter doesn’t mind its quirks or downfalls so the alarm stays.

I bought this alarm clock because 1)it was advertised as being good for kids 2) it had different alarm sounds 3)all the 5 star ratings. As far as doing the basic job of waking you up it does the job but the ease of use, especially for a child, is not what it claims to be. The buttons are all on the bottom and very tiny. It’s hard to set, turn alarm on and off. It does play different songs for the alarm but we could only get it to two different ones and not sure how we did it it. Also, you better enjoy holiday music because all we heard for the alarm was “Old Lang Syne” (sp?) and “We Wish You a Merry Christmas”. It’s now a running joke in our family. We did not care for this alarm clock, in fact we bought a new one three weeks later.

I was a little disappointed with this purchase. The colors are pretty but you were not able to set one specific color. It rotates through all of them all night. Also, there is no way to plug it in and we seem to run through batteries very quickly. Approximately every two weeks the batteries get so low you cannot see the screen. The alarm sounds are okay but fairly boring when you are spoiled by smart phone options these days. I really should not be surprised since it was such a low price that I paid.

It’s not easy to set , I had to look up a video on YouTube to figure out how to set it up correctly .In order to turn off the alarm or the snooze , you can’t just push down on the top of it , you have to turn it over and push a tiny button .Love that the colors change in it ! The digit part of it is easy to read ...Updated: I ended up returning this alarm clock twice ! Don’t buy it

The alarm clock works well. It has several different options. It is difficult to navigate all the options, I basically push buttons until I get where I want. What I really have not liked is how quickly the battery dies. If you never use the night light option the battery should last awhile but if it's for a child most likely they will want the light on and that kills the battery. Overall it's been enjoyable and has worked but uses the batteries too quickly.

It was easy to setup the time, however I’m struggling with the alarm. It’s not as user friendly (or maybe it’s me!) to shut the alarm off without accidentally changing the time. I would prefer an easy on/off switch instead of having to press multiple to turn alarm off. I do like the lights as I’m also using as a nightlight.

Bought this for my daughter (9). While it is a cute clock, changes colors and you can choose multiple alarm chimes to wake up to, the screen went out in less than a week rendering it completely useless. What good is a clock if you cannot tell the time? I contacted the company who was quick to respond and send out a new one. The screen on the new one failed to work right out of the packaging. Everything else worked just fine on the clock (colors, chimes, etc.) but you cannot even read the time due to the screen not working. I will not be purchasing this product again and will be looking elsewhere.

Bought this for my 5year old son. Good price. Lights are nice. He loved those. Easy to see/read. Only runs on batteries and they didn’t last more than a week. Each time you replace the batteries you have to go through the multi step process to reset everything. Also ours came without a screw to secure the battery door so if it falls on the floor batteries fall out and you have to reset again. We had to add one so our younger son didn’t get them out on accident. Only one alarm tone. No volume control. My son liked it but I finally had enough headache and we’re returning it!
