Best inverter I've ever purchased.
I work in construction. I've had an older model the last 4 years at the last company I worked for that was really the best inverter I've ever used. Had to give it back to the co when I left so I bought this, this week. Unlike others, it's quiet, doesn't overheat as long as the vents are unobstructed, and is easily stored in the console cup holder. My new company truck allows a device to receive power after the truck is off, so I have to remember to pull the plug everytime. Perhaps the next version of this, the makers might consider an off button.

Great lower power conversion tool
After having the Energizer power converter, this one seems very tall. It’s about the size of a big Starbucks drink. The plugs are so secure that I can’t really unplug things while driving. I really like having a second 12V plug at the 12V plug so I can chain in a regular car-style plug, too.As far as noise, it’s not audible enough to get a dB reading on from an inch away. Maybe it would be a concern if you were using your car as a high end sound studio, but even then I don’t think it should be a problem.Over all, this is a handy unit that does what I expected. However, I’m not running a hair dryer from it or anything. Ha!

Good quality. As described. Worth the purchase.
I’ve been using the product for about a week so far so good I use it in the front of my RV so I never really get a chance to hear it and determine whether it has any decipherable noise but it seems fine it never seems overheated so far haven’t used it a whole lot but I will be using it more and I definitely like the design it’s also in a cupholder that has adequate ventilation in my situation.

This thing sucks
Do not buy. First time out of the package, connected to the cigarette lighter and it blew the fuse. Replaced the fuse thinking it was not this inverter and it blew again.
