This worked so well!! Easily disposed of a bunch of meds in one shot. It was exactly what I needed.

I was amazed at how easy this was to use. Further the capacity was well beyond what I expected so that I disposed of all my hundreds of old pills and had room for many more if I had needed it. The is a great buy and a very good product.

Works well

Went to a large medical meeting 2019. DEA and Medical board Rep's completely stumped by the question what to do when patient' brings back pain pills they don't want to use back to Dr Office. The Doctor cannot legally take them back, but needs to document their destruction. Only way to do it is witness the patient destroying the pills with these and then the patient takes home the pills in the pill destroyer. This way the Doctor can take picture of pills and pill destroyer witnessed by patient, Doctor and Doctor's staff witness, have a picture record for the chart. Doctor should not even touch the pills. Have the patient destroy them with this bottle and dump them in their own home trash. Then Doctor can now safely prescribed a replacement with something else without concern that they will be taking both meds and overdosing or giving them away to someone else.

I thought it was liquid. You have to add your own liquid. Which is okay I guess. I should have read the description.

I discovered so many old prescription and over the counter meds when I was cleaning out my parents home that I was overwhelmed. (Some of them were over 30 years old!!) And I couldn't find a local place to dispose of them. This is so easy to use! And I could just toss it in the trash can. I purchased the 6 pack, and then came back and ordered the 3 pack. I have one bottle left, that I'm hanging onto for my own use. I hope I never find that many pills again, but if I do, I'll be back here to get more of these!

Gets rid of old pills safely.

This device made it easy for me to dispose of my unwanted and expired medications in an environmentally responsible way. The information on the container states that it contains inorganic solid solvents that help break down medications and that the solvents were specifically formulated to meet or exceed FDA and EPA guidelines for safe disposal. The instructions for the disposal process are printed on the container and are very easy to understand, but if you have poor eyesight you may need a magnifying glass to read them. The container can hold up to 300 medium sized pills or equivalent (e.g. capsules, liquids, powders) but you don't need to count since there is a medication fill line. Thanks to this device my medicine cabinet is currently bare but I'm sure I will be ordering another one sometime soon.
