very soft but much thinner weight than I had expected. packaging isn't in a language that I can read but it lists percentages and thats enough to know it is a blend of several materials and not 100% cashmere The ball pictured was about 4" wide and I actually got two together. It took about 2 weeks to arrive. Excellent price.
