Small fan bearing motors: So far so good
Using to lubricate some small shaded-pole fan motors with bronze sleeve bearings…At first, I thought it was too thick for this application, as the fan did not free spin nearly as well compared to when I used a thin PTFE based lubricant. However, after an hour (or so) of “burn in” after lubrication, the friction is much improved. The fans run smooth and silent, and I expect the grease will stay around much longer than thin oil. And, the smell is really not that bad I don’t think, especially compared to some other petroleum based lubricants. I’m using them in fans no less, and I really don't smell it all. I don’t think it easily “vaporizes” as to be able to smell it at a far distance. Only smells bad if you put your nose an inch or two from the open tube.

Works Well, Smells Positively GROSS!
I used this to grease the bearings on a scratch-built 3D printer, and for that purpose, Molykote checks most of the boxes needed (NLGI 2, base oil viscosity between 50-100 @ 40C, appropriate for slow speed bearings, etc.). In hindsight, I should have stuck with the SuperLube that other people use to grease their linear bearings, but I wanted "the best" for this build and that doesn't include solid additives like PTFE or otherwise. But, as another reviewer points out, the smell of this stuff really has to be a consideration.I often shrug about the strong smell of things like isopropyl alcohol, 3D printing resin, acetone, or paint thinner. I didn't even mind the kerosene that I used to degrease the new set of bearings that I was installing. But this stuff... This stuff is something different altogether!I'm really regretting my decision to use it on a printer that is going to sit in my home office space all day. The pungent smell that combines stinky cheese, feet, and vomit might be temporarily tolerable in an airplane hangar, but if your application is in your living space or will be something that you touch frequently, do yourself a favor and look elsewhere. As an added bonus for the super-premium price that comes along with this product, the smell stays on your hands after you wash them thoroughly, so it's a gift that keeps on giving for you and those around you.

Good but stinky.
So far this might be the best bearing grease I’ve ever used. But 2 factors hold it back. It’s incompatible with other greases. And, this may be too picky, but it stinks bad. Like a vomit-ish sour stink that really puts me off.Works well but stinky and all previous grease must be removed.
