Cute! But read directions or this review.
This is cute and easy once I got that hang of it. 2 things: 1 split the floss. That gets lost in translation and you will run out if you don't. I did not at first and it was much more difficult to stitch and I had to use a different color to finish that section. I would use 2 strands with the needle in the middle which make it 4 strands thick.2 Dont worry if you can see the pattern underneath. You're supposed to wash it when complete. The direction will tell you how.Once you get your rhythm down it's quite fun and goes quickly.

lovely vibrant retro design
I bought this for myself during this COVID social isolation times - first cross stitch since I was a teen (let's say it's been well over 30 yrs since I've done this so I consider myself a beginner) - very relaxing and beautiful result. The photo is here right after I hand washed it in warm water to get rid of the background grid and printed on colors after I completed it. I used a double strand of the embroidery floss for this project (each supplied string is 6 strands of floss, I pulled out two at a time; and I still had a lot of extra left over). Also, I didn't use the white floss for the line in the legs, I used the same color as the yellow in the fox's chest, which was more subtle; I did the project following the strings starting at #1 and onwards; which makes it hard for finding the print guiding the legs line at the end, so I followed the design visually and was able to do a backstitch over the body's cross stitched section). The fabric is very stiff at first and did cramp up my hand from handling, but do not wash it to try and soften it as the background print will wash out; the fabric did soften after handling over time). I ended up using thimbles eventually too, to protect my fingers as needed.

Cute but disappointing
I’m so disappointed because this latter is very cute, but they simply do not give you enough embroidery floss. This is not my first crossstitch and I split the thread properly accustomed the pattern, and it still isn’t enough. It’s frustrating because you can’t finish a section because you run out of floss and have to jump to the next and keep track of color numbers to then go to a store to buy extra of each color. If you spend 60 cents a color you’re adding $8 extra to the cost of the kit plus your time to drive to the store and buy the necessary floss. Not a very good deal and pretty greedy on the manufacturer’s part.

Cute fox
I got this for my daughter and this is her review“I’m 12, and once I figured out that you have to focus on the number instead of the color on the fabric, it was easy. The colors are vibrant and they give thread to spare. The colors on the fabric are different from the thread but the dye is water soluble and will come out once you’ve finished. Do not soak in water before finishing or you’ll lose the pattern. I really enjoyed it and I got another kit to do. The fox is so cute!“

More info needed
I did not think the instructions were clear for beginners. It should be stated exactly how many strands of threads you need. I am a beginner and felt the fox looked better with three threads but kept running out of thread so switched to two. I appealed to the seller but got no response. Now I have to buy more thread to finish the project. This is my second cross stitch. The first, the owl from Maydear, was more generous with thread.

Not enough threads are given for some colors.
I think how much better Joy Sunday would be if their factory included enough thread for each color. I have at least three colors that lack enough embroidery floss. In fact I am working on this project at this moment. I have had to spend much time ordering additional floss from various companies. This process interrupts my pleasure in working on this project. I have ordered some additional Joy Sunday pre stamped cross stitch kits because I like the layout ofthe pictures, the dmc colors used ,and the quality of the Aida cloth on which the figure is printed. Instructions are easy. Joy Sunday--Please give more floss and you will have a perfect product without the customer worrying about enough floss, time used to order floss, waiting for it to be sent. You have a fine product, but that is the only shortcoming I found. Keep your customers by addressing this one issue and you'll have a 5 star rating.

Amazingly precisely stamped canvas
This is my second stamped cross stitch from this company. The precision with which this pattern is stamped is quite clear, avoiding frustration and confusion over unclear or misplaced symbols. It makes working on this so much more fun because I don’t have to constantly check the paper pattern, but it still has a complex pattern (60 colors) suitable for advanced crafters. I will look specifically for kits from this company in the future, but I wish they had a better selection of famous artist patterns—I’m not a fan of the kittens-with-a-ball-of-string type patterns.

Cute but not for real beginners
This isn’t really for beginners-more like advanced beginners. The needle is super tiny and had to buy a needle threader. They do not explain that you have to pull the floss apart to 3 strands-which is a pain-making it even harder to thread the needle. I ended up using the whole six strand floss and then bought additional floss. The design is cute and not very complex as far as color shifts. It’s best to watch some YouTube videos first.

Super fun super easy. Easy to color match thread if running out
Super easy and fun. I have never cross stitched before and I figured it out without having to think too much. The other reviews are right about not enough threat however the color matching is easy, the DMC number on the print is the corresponding color if you run out. I ran out and found the matching color on Amazon for like seven bucks so don’t worry about that.

This is not for kids
I found this in a toy collection, so thought it would be suitable for a 12 year old, similar to something I had as a child, where the pattern was stamped in colour onto the canvas and the material was yarn. This item is a complex article much more suitable for an experienced cross stitch embroiderer.

Not enough thread
Great print. As a first timer it didn’t instruct how to start/finish a row. The instructions say to use 3 strands from a string. As per another review, I only used 2 and still didn’t have enough thread and have had to buy additional 6 of 12 colours and even then the colours don’t match 100%
