Very nice and sturdy. Easy to install. Unfortunately one of the pins that activates the locking mechanism was slightly bent so it didn’t work. But it was easy to straighten out. Problem solved, and they look great.

Looks great, was easy to install. My husband set it up in about 5 minutes. Used it on our closet door so we could lock it when needed. Quality is great, doesn’t look cheap.

I ordered a box of six door handles since they are very similar to a brand-name offering available at big-box stores.But at $45 each for ONE closet (non-locking) handle, versus around $20 for the locking door handles available from Amazon, it was a no-brainer.I received these in two days, and was so impressed by the quality I ordered another set as a gift.Replacing the old door handles was fairly easy, but I had to use a chisel to install the plunger latch and the striker plate, as they are squared versus the rounded-corner originals.Fortunately, I am handy so this was not a big deal for me, but if you don’t want to deal with such an issue, you may need to order a different style.The square design looks more modern, IMO, so it’s a good choice as it matches the door handles.I also opted for the matte black handles, and they look great.Oh, and I also went ahead and ordered enough matte black hinges, so everything would match. That was a good call.One last comment; my laundry room-to-garage door is a little bit thicker than the inside doors, but I also installed one of the door handles on it and it fit perfectly.With Amazon’s easy-return policy, it’s a good idea to order stuff to see it in real life.
