Fits on 2003 ML350
ML350 2003. Despite poor reviews I took a chance and purchased it. Glad I did. Fits great and holes aligned see picture. At first they weren’t aligning for me either but then I decided to put the bolts in, in an “X” formation and it worked fine, don’t do the top at the same time do one top and one diagonal from it.

Good bang for the buck
Just added it so a hitch mount bike rack can be used. It will serve its purpose but is not the cleanest looking piece. It sticks out a ways. I installed with ought the spacer by removing the spare tire catch.

Not OEM, but definitely worth it
Now let's see if I will loose my trailer on the highway. Not OEM quality but it is a piece of metal figured it should work while I spend less. Welded only in the front. But hey, if it's rated class 3... already showing defects on the paint and minor rust showing on some welds. But I hope it will hold. One problem, no instructions. Everything fitted just nice, it's intuitive and really simple to work on this car (ml320 1998), got the bolts in and ... what's the torque? Found some saying 136 ft lbs which is... too much and towards 80 bolts (class 12.9) seemed stressed. A lug nut on a smaller car takes about 100ft lbs.To install:1. Get 1 hitch bolt and some lube and thread the bolt in all the holes. That's how you know the threads will take the bolts. A thread chaser would be better, but mine ran away with a dye and a nut.2. Install 2 bolts. Let them loose. Get a screwdriver with one hand and push the spacer up a bit while you try with 1 hand to get the bolt in and another hand to hold the hitch up so you will align the holes. Yes, that's 3 hands at the final count. But if you're creative you can get it on with only 2 hands. After the 3rd bolt (let that one loose too), you'll be able to get the 4th with ease. And while it does look that the holes so not line up, leaving them loose until you install them all and maybe even tapping them to get them in, might do the trick. If nothing works, then the holes in the hitch are spaced wrong.

Great for Intended purpose. I bought for another purpose.
I bought this for my C6 Corvette with performance exhaust. I think it would work but have not had luck finding anyone willing to install it.This is intended for pickup trucks, I think and I believe it would work well for that. It is very heavy duty and would comes with required hardware, including a backing plate (also heavy duty)

I was able to tow a tailor hitch and remove all of the items away from my house.
this was the easiest install ever.

Heavy Duty fits great.
Very sturdy product. Fit my '03 Mercedes ML500 perfectly. Bolts are high quality metal. Came with a metal plate that offsets the hitch just enough to be out of the way of the spare tire mechanism.
