Great book for someone wanting to learn about Greek mythology
I ordered this book because my 12 year old daughter is starting to want to learn about religion. She absolutely loved this book. It was definitely worth the price.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Epic in Every Way
If you’ve ever wanted to feel like a warrior-poet without actually going to battle, The Iliad & The Odyssey is the way to go. Homer really knew how to spin a tale—there’s war, gods being petty, heroes with serious grudges, and a journey so long it makes modern commutes look easy. The Iliad is all about action: Achilles, Hector, and a whole lot of fighting (plus some drama that would put reality TV to shame). The Odyssey? That’s one long, chaotic road trip home with monsters, sirens, and an absurd amount of bad luck. It’s not exactly a “light read,” but if you stick with it, you’ll see why this has been a classic for thousands of years. Perfect for mythology lovers, history buffs, or anyone who just wants to say, “Yeah, I’ve read Homer” and sound extra impressive.

This is the Roman version!
Overall the book is beautiful and a fairly accessible read to people like me who aren’t used to reading this style of book. However one thing to know this book is the Roman mythology, meaning it uses Roman gods like Jupiter (Jove) instead of the Greek counterparts (Zeus).

Hardcover Classic
Eyecatching!! Besides it being a great book, place it on your center table and it gives a very aesthetical look. Can't go wrong with a hardcover classic.

Must Have for Classic Libraries
I really like my copy of these books. I read them well over 30 years ago, but have recently been encouraged to revisit them. The names are so much easier for me to pronounce than those in Les Miserables. The book has the look of a nice classic and belongs with other books of this category on my bookshelf.
