Why did you pick this product vs others?:Purchased new house and filter was very dirty. Old filter was discontinued from vendor. After getting the correct filter the slight oder went away and water pressure improved.

Works well as a water well filter. Cheaper than the store version
This filter works really well for the price. This is used to filter put sediment from the well water before it goes into the water softener. It works really well and I haven't had any issues with it. It was easy to install and doesn't significantly reduce the water pressure. It fits just like the oem version but because its on Amazon its way cheaper than the alternative that we could buy in store locally.

Filters water very well for about a six week period of time.
We have been purchasing this filter about every six weeks for many years. It works very well, but begins to plug up and restrict water flow in about same time period and needs replaced.

Easy water filters
These work for me and have for several years. These are what I use for the well water before it goes through my water softener. Easy to reorder and easy installation. I change these about every 3-4 months.
