Legion: The Horus Heresy, Book 7

Sooo much Information added into the Heresy timeline! Great back story of the youngest legion of the Astartes of the imperium of mankind!

A good entry into the series. it's just to bad it jas Jhon gramaticus in it. Gramaticus is one of the worst characters in fiction. I mean Jar-Jar binks bad. as long as gramaticus isn't involved the story is very well told.

The most unnecessary and obtuse spy story ever. Alpha Legion pointlessly uses lies when the truth would do. Manipulating the Imperial Army through deception and subterfuge when they’re already above it in the chain of command, the Alpha Legion shows us why they’re the most tedious of the Astartes legions.Still, it’s who they are and the novel demonstrates that well. The best parts of the novel come from the characterizations of the Geno Five-Two Chiliad. The genetically modified grunts caught in the crossfire of a power struggle between the Alpha Legion and the 670th Expedition’s Lord Commander.John Grammaticus and the Cabal are introduced. Like the Alpha Legion, they orchestrate complex plots within plots when they could have simply sent an email to explain their point.This book is for anyone that wants to know more about the Alpha Legion or wants a Space Marine story told not from the perspective of the space marines themselves, but from the regular humans that have to put up with them.

This book and book 6 were of far superior quality than its predecessors. I almost stopped reading at book 5, glad I continued

Legion is a lightning-fast read that I could scarcely put down. Ominously intelligent writing and insightful dialogue gilds this story as it justly deserves. I applaud the Black Library editorial board and authors for what they have accomplished with the Horus Heresy series. Highly recommended reading.

Holy backstabs double crossings and spy thrilling suspense! Great set up for the alpha legion in this tragic story. Must read!

Good book... It had words and it had action... Its everything I want out of a good book. Good night.
