Great shifter
Installed it on a 1968 Dodge Coronet R/TThe instructions were a bit lacking on a Chrysler 727 install, but their website had more detail and got me through.I would recommend you plan on a few hours to complete the install.Works perfectly!

great construction, few details could use a little polishing tho
worked right out the box, Didn't have any unnecessary assembly or preform any modification to product that would be necessary for fully functioning product, like alot a Chinese products i have bought. well on this portion of the product, now if you also buy the extra two red buttons on the handle. you better be a good problem solver with lots of patience because its goin to take you longer to get those right then you spent installing this since i haven't vary much and this went in my race car i simply cut the covers small portion between the shift lever and indicator slot making threading the buttons wires simple easy and quick. but hey if you got the time to solve that riddle of keeping the wires all tight at the proper length so not to get caught up in the mechanism down the road well my hats off to you. i just don't have time for tedious brain teasers dumb designs. if your like me best not be afraid to take some snips or hacksaw and a die grinder to make clearance for the base of one of the buttons to your brand new 600+ dollar shifter. but hey everything negative i have with it only pertains to the product if you had planed to do the extra buttons (just don't buy the buttons. mod your own into the existing handle my suggestion) one other thing not super thrilled about was since chevy has a longer then everyone else park to reverse distance to travel you have to apply the ratcheting motion twice to get out and back into park from revers iam sure after a while it will become just second nature and wont have to think about it or to remember to do when preforming this but its going to def take a little getting use to for sure. but enough of the wanted and wishes stuff and on to the good stuff. bolt this guy down tight with no kinks big swoops in the cable routing and this baby is solid i did add fender washers to the bottom of mine as i always do through light car sheet metal stuff and slap this sucker around as much as you like, silky smooth satisfying confident with reassuring positive click feed back boy she sure likes it that way. but she is just as comfortable and confident on the drive to church too. we well just have to wait to see how well she holds up. but my guess have been a sheet metal guy in my younger years these thick gages of all steel parts well they shouldn't be anything to worry about for years to come.

Great shifter, worthless cover
Straightforward shifter. I've used several of these and can never install the cover without damaging it. Didn't need a cover for this application so it wasn't a problem. The cover is thinner than a beer can a half as useful. Great shifter though.

it is cool
But a pain in the but to install, the manufacturer has not updated their install instructions as per the tech line, when adjusting to the transmission just start from the lowest gear instead of park! and work your way towards park ..... there are two Park positions and that is because of different car manufacturer applications.....so, once again, start from your transmission lowest gear ! and set the shifter to the rear by counting slots from the neutral position.
