I’ve had this patio shade for several years and it’s held up really well over time. It’s not meant for heavy rain—water seeps through—but it’s breathable and provides plenty of shade on sunny days. A great long-term option for light coverage and airflow, just don’t expect full rain protection.

The loop hooks on the ends are medium in size. The shade itself is thinner than my others. It blocks the sun about half. Its ok but perer more heavy duty for a shade.

The color is just right. Easy to install. The quality is what is expected for the price. It's very durable. Definitely worth the purchase.

The media could not be loaded. This is great for the back deck. Almost a mesh but does a nice job blocking the bright Colorado sun (in photos you can see sun shade shadow & table shadow for comparison). Also looks nice. Been up about 2 months and seems to be holding up well to the winds we get here. Some crazy gusts come through with thunderstorms but it’s holding up (video in the wind). That was my biggest worry.It is not very water resistant. Will protect from sprinkles, but not much more. The rain comes through but also kind of pools and turns it into a water fall. Would have been 5 stars if it did protect from the rain, but overall I’m still happy with this and would recommend.I’ll update later after a few more months and maybe a hail or snow storm.**************update July 2022**************3rd summer using this, & it still works great! I’ve updated to 5 stars as this has surpassed expectations & I recommend it to everyone!I pull it down in winter but it’s survived several Colorado hail storms (we get enough hail at times the county sends the snow plows out). It’ll stretch down with the weight, but bounces back when it dries out. The hook screws in the wood gave out before the shade fabric did.

Purchased the 10’x10’ grey shade sail. I’m pretty sure this was the easiest thing we’ve installed and likely the best purchase we made this summer. We get the afternoon/evening sun and our deck would get so hot. This was the most cost effective solution we could find, and honestly I like the look of it better than anything like a sun setter (which is super expensive and looks like something my grandparents would have had). Took us about 30-40 minutes to get it completely put together (including installing the 4x4 posts.I am so pleased with this purchase - do not hesitate to buy if you need a cost effective solution for shade! Well made and looks great!
