Ignore The Negative Reviews: 5 star Critic Review
*Please check pictures for confirmation of visuals*First and foremost, before I get into this review, yes, both left and right headphones work. I personally was not skeptical before buying these headphones, at all. I've seen countless reviews of people stating that "the left or right headphones are defective", "my headphones stopped working after x amount of months", etc. The problem is that most of these people probably do not how to effectively take care of headphones nor earphones. It is important to understand that ALL headphones are not 100% water resistant, meaning that even sweat can cause damage to an extent. Another factor that can cause the defect of headphones are consistent blasting of the music; does not matter how "loud" headphones say they can get, high volumes will cause damage to the headphones a lot quicker. Another factor is the famous bending of the cable. The wiring can be extremely sensitive regardless of how tough or strongly built the exterior of the cable is. Especially when people rap the cord around their phone in such a way that causes it to bend in a "V" shape. Nevertheless, careless use of headphones are the cause of the "quick defectiveness". I've ordered plenty of headphones, across different brands, from different Amazon sellers and have never had the same issues most people have, no issues at all actually. Otherwise, they're just a cheap knock off brand or already defective. Now that that's out the way, these Beats By Dre Solo 2 Luxe are of expectation. Both headphones work, sound quality is crisp, bass punch is clean, and the headphones themself look very eye catching and visually appealing. Whether or not you are into headphones for what they are, or if you just need something to listen through, these are worth it, especially for its quality. I recommend these headphones to all. Personally, I like the chrome trimming finish.Only downfall is how (slightly) tight they hug your head/ears. It is not over whelming, but if this is something you do not mind then these headphones are for you... I personally don't give a damn. They look nice, they sound nice, and packaging was as if I bought it directly from the store.*Please check pictures for confirmation of visuals*

Good all around headphones
Overpriced as usual with Beats products. I like the feel and portability of these. They are very light easy to work with and sound is decent. These are really a 99 dollar pair of headphones. But there are sales to be found. I take a pair in my business bag everyday. I use them once or twice per week. I like that they are on ear as well. They still give plenty of bass. For some reason I tend to use these more often than my higher end audiophile headphones because they are light over the ear and are easy to work with if you're laying in bed. No regrets I have 2 pairs.

Excellent headphones, once you get past the build quality.
I love these headphones. As a quick summary:PROS. Comfortable, great sound quality and noise canceling especially at the $100 and below price point. Looks stylish even though it is a bit bulky. 40+h battery life! Very great range when paired to a more powerful BT connection like a car or computer, rather than to a smart phone. Got as far away as 50 meters away before losing signal.Cons. They dont have the greatest build quality, and you can tell from the texture and material of the ear muffs. The headband at times can feel flimsy and fragile, but I guess they had to make profits somewhere. I rather lose on build quality and keep performance at this price point.Honestly the sound quality as well as the nice canceling, are on par with many $200+ headphones. I'm impressed.

Well constructed, good weight on the ears; no noise suppression
This is a nicely made set of headphones (see photos) with very good sound quality for the price. They work quite well. They do not have noise suppression (which I knew going in) but the sound is full and background noise isn't an issue unless my dog starts barking. Comes with a solid, compact case, which makes it easy to tote around in a backpack for while traveling. I had an issue with the cable, but Apple (which owns Beats) replaced it for free without issue. The cable plugs into the headphones--nice design--which made for an easy swap. If it'd been hardwired in, as on cheaper headphones, I'd have had to send in the entire unit and wait for it to come back. Overall, they're well-constructed and feel very comfortable on the ears, even for long periods of time.

Comfortable, nice looking, one ear didn’t work right away.
At first, only the one ear was working. I fixed this by slightly pulling the cord out of its jack in the headphones. This is disappointing as they should work fine without this trick. They work fine when adjusted like this though. They’re comfortable and, so far, good quality otherwise. I wpuodnt bother purchasing if this sounds like too much of a hassle.

Great Headphones
There was a time when you could buy a pair of Sony bass boost headphones for $25 or so, and they sounded awesome. For some reason quality headphones are much harder to find these days. I don't know if MP3s are to blame or if the quality just isn't there, but I have tried numerous headphones in the $50-$100 range and found all of them to be a disappointing muddying mess. When I finally listened to a pair of Beats Solo 2s, I was amazed. There is sufficient bass, but most headphones provide that. What set the Beats apart was how clear the other instruments are. Nothing is muddy. In fact, every sound is given equal attention and nothing is lost. Beats have gotten a bad rap, which is partly why I waited so long to try them, but I must disagree with the naysayers. Beats are different, they are great.

Great Headphones!!
These headphones are fantastic. The comfort of them is really top notch -- the top part is firm, yet foamy and sits comfortably on the head. I do find that sometimes with a pony tail, it tends to slide along my hair, but is never a big problem. The ear part is very foamy and squishy and creates a really nice soundproof (almost) barrier. The sound quality is amazing, regardless of whatever device you are listening to. My father has a very old stereo (that he was worried about having to replace) but after plugging these into the old stereo, the sound came out sounding just as amazing as if it was coming from my iPhone 7.I would highly recommend these if you are looking for a quality pair of headphones without having to spend an insane amount.
