Kerosene Heater Wick 7-1/2" Fits Aladdin Temprite 9(C-381)

Replaced in kerosun radiant 10 and was perfect fit.

Easy to install. Lasted the whole season with burning dry about once a week.Very pleased with the durability.

Installed and works very good on a Dynal-Glo RMC-55-R7. I installed it at the "B" line.Bought a DuraHeat DH-200 from a local retailer that fits Dyna-Glo RMC-55-R7, and it would not burn right. Could not get an even flame. The American Wick AW-1- burns just right from the start.The AW-10 wick is made in England.Here is an installation tip I found while installing that is not in the manuals. This type of wick does not have the snap on buttons. You have to use the raised tabs, and press the the wick into the tabs, so that it grabs, and holds the wick in the wick holder. During installation, align the wick, so that the seam of the wick does not line up on one of the tabs. The seam is thick on these wicks, and the raised tabs don't hold good on the thick seam.

this wick was installed in an old 1980's Kero Sun; Model # RADIANT 8 (Same as the RSA-8.) It is used to heat my garage / workshop on cold winter days. Of course since I had tuned up the heater and was ready we had a mild winter. but it was great having the unit burn clean and evenly with the new wick installed.

I have an older model Kerosene Heater which I use a lot and I've been using the  American Wick Kerosene Heater Wick  brand for years, mainly because it's a manufacturer's brand and not an aftermarket brand which I found not to burn as well. You can make it last even longer if you take the time to trim off the crusty part now and then and you'll get many more warm nights out of it for some extra effort. Plus, this wick is not as easy to find anymore from other sources and is usually more expensive. Amazon makes it an easy choice. Works for me!

Great value

So you put this wick in your old kerosene heater and the kerosene heater works like new. Only concern is the burning sensation the wick tends to complain about. Hopefully your wick will test negative for STDs, but if not, most STDs can't stand the heat the wick deals with, so you should be fine. As always, I am not a doctor, but I did buy and enjoy this wick.

Works well. Difficult to figure out which line to adjust it too and the instructions were not much help. Took some trial and error. The line they referenced for my model was not on the filter.
