Works great!
Bought this to be able to practice guitar along with my ipad while using headphones. Worked beautifully! Connected the power as normal, used a 3.5mm-3.5mm run from the ipad adapter into my amp, and then headphones plugged into the amp.

Good, solid product
Good product at a great price. The volume comes through well, no static. I am leaving 4 stars because it appears that the charging port does not work on my iPad, which is the only product I use it for.

Works, feels cheap, occasional sound issues
Update (08/19/2019): This product doesn’t seem to work very well after some time. There is a lot of interference and studdering in my music when using it.First and foremost is that it pretty much works. I can listen to music with a mini-jack headphones while charging my phone. Secondly, this product just feels hollow and cheap. Third, I've experienced some sound wavering, artifacts, modulation, etc issues for a span of a few seconds during the occasional song. Fourth, the lightning connector (female end) does not allow the charge cable to go all the way into the port which is not a big deal, just an observation. Lastly, when using this device, it's a little cumbersome to use your phone while all this is plugged in. This is not necessarily the fault of the dongle.

Perfect for Travel
This little contraption is absolutely perfect for traveling. We use it on flights, both while waiting for the flight and while we are on the plane so that we can watch the same thing together.
