Blocks most of the sound
I use these for sleeping and trying to block the wife’s snoring. They’re not perfect. Nothing is going to block out all sound for you, but these do a great job.I have also used these when using power tools and again they work great. You do have to squeeze them to get them to fit in your ear and then they expand to seal. Make sure they don’t dry out though or they will harden up on you.

Works well for EDM concerts.
Haven’t used these ones yet. Bought them for an EDM event this weekend, someone else offered the same ones to me before at another EDM event and the worked magnificent for that event.

lifesaver
If you struggle with loud, inconsiderate roommates, this is the product for you! I have asked my roommates on multiple occasions to please be quieter, but I hear cackling, loud music, yelling, whistling, and all kinds of percussive noises from 7AM - and sometimes into the night despite this. It has gotten to the point where I feel as if I'm going insane. If you're in the same boat, you should definitely try these!!If you make sure to follow the instructions, these fit perfectly and have a great seal! I find that following with some headphones on really blocks out the noise almost 100%. I've been using these for about two months, and have yet to experience any bad things related to pain/discomfort unless I've been wearing them for hours. And at that point, it's more from my headphones than the earplugs themselves.Overall a life saver (my own? my roommates?)! Highly reccomend. 😊

My choice for a trip to the shooting range
I bought 4 highly reviewed ear plugs from different companies as an experiment of sorts , these ones are my choice for the shooting range. The reason for this is that after squishing them they return to their original shape the fastest, and this efficiency is significant enough to make these unique. If you were to squish them and observe, it takes about 15 seconds to fully reform which is about twice as fast as the next best earplugs I tested ( 3rd place took 1 minute to reform and 4th place a whole 2 minutes!). Furthermore, when you place these inside your ear canals you only need to hold them in place for 2-3 seconds which allows them to reform enough so that you can then leave them be and they wont budge out or move. This is good because its awkward to keep holding on to earplugs at the range waiting for them to form a proper seal. The color is bright orange which is also a plus making them more visible for others to see once on. Now these do come with an NRR of 32 whereas all the competition had 33, but to my ears I can’t distinguish the difference between the 32 and 33. I placed a nrr33 earplug in one ear and one of these on the other , played loud music, bringing each ear super close to the source , and like I said I couldn’t tell the difference. If anything else at least you know the manufacturer is being honest about the NRR of 32 since the product does seem to advertise on the bottle sticker in small print the mention of a new product (earbuddy pro) having a nrr of 33, but I can’t find those online or on amazon. I don’t know who monitors these products and how easy it is to market a product as nrr33 when in fact they are not , but if it was easy to falsely market such products then kudos to this company for being honest and not marketing as nrr33. In any case when at the range I double up with ear muffs , and so should you , just because you can tolerate it doesn’t mean damage isn’t being done. However, if you choose not to double up then foam earplugs are superior to muffs and these certainly are the best choice from among the earplugs I tested.

7 pair damaged beyond usability
Update re below: The company reached out and made it right—issuing us a partial credit. They offered a full credit, but I didn’t believe that was necessary. As I said—we did get exactly what we were looking for which was the ear plugs with the flared top. These are what we wanted, with the flared top, but out of the 50 pair about 7 pair are completely unusable because of the packaging. The ones on the top were squished in beyond usability. They’ve been sitting out for more than 24 hours and still haven’t bounced back.

Best combination of comfort and sound reduction
I need earplugs for three main things: 1) I'm a very light sleeper, 2) I go to a lot of live concerts, and 3) I am a bass player so I'm always standing next to the drummer at practice. I have religiously used earplugs for over 30 years. From fancy ones that cost $75+ with filters and other doodads to wadding up bits of napkin. These are the best I have ever used. They don't block out all sound - nothing does. They aren't perfectly comfortable - nothing is. But these are as close to either of those things as you will get. Whether they fit for you will depend on your ear size so that is a personal thing, I think my ears are a bit above average size - my teenagers don't use these, they think they are too big.Tips on use - don't get them wet, it ruins them. Change them after a few days because they lose effectiveness. Once you can't squish them down all the way and get them into your ear completely, it's time for a fresh pair. Don't let your cat play with them (lol). I keep them sealed in a ziplock bag overnight, it prolongs their use for a day or two. I find I get maybe five days out of each pair. No matter how well I get them in they sometimes still fall out when I'm sleeping, so using a headband like the musicozy helps to keep everything in place.
