[Blue Light Shield] 3H Hard Coating Eye Eyesight UV Screen Protector Filter Film for Apple iPad 2 3 4

I bought this with the hopes of being able to read on my iPad at night without the blue light rays disrupting my circadian rhythm (and I really don't want to jailbreak to install f.lux, but I may have to) and did not have success with it. It arrived with a "ding" in it, and was not able to be put on smoothly without a bubble because of that. I have also put on tons of screen protectors, and the flimsy construction of this one made it hard. Lastly, the package stated that there should be two inside, yet there was only one. I gave it two stars instead of one because I don't know how well it would or would not have worked if I had been able to install it properly.

Not sure about the science behind this product but I do feel like it works. Before I got this screen protector I had a lot of eye fatigue and I felt extra tired during the day. After I installed the product I haven't had very much eye fatigue and I don't feel as tire from reading at night before bed. It could be placebo affect or it could be that it actually works. Either way I'm happy with the purchase. I did notice that the screen protector does have a slightly noticeable yellow tint becuase I have a white ipad 2 but it does not affect anything at all.

I think this MAY do a little of what it advertises, but it could just be a placebo effect. Definitely not worth the price. My iPad touch screen worked fine with this so there are no performance issues.

It wasn't as hard as I thought it would be but it works fine.

It is so extremely difficult to Not get bubbles in it. What makes it absolutely disappointing is that you won't get one or two bubbles wich you can remove latter. You'll get a minefield full of them. You get so many that you don't even want to try it any more. Even though I cleaned the surface very well.

I really like the screen coating to guard my eyes. It really cut down on the blue light.
