You won't be seen for weeks...
Having not played the previous 2 Fallout games, I didn't know what to expect with this one. At first I found it really difficult - like I was a little girl in a big, scary world... but once I began strengthening my character through building on her abilities, I discovered just how brilliant, addictive and exciting this game was!You could spend hundreds of hours completing every single side mission and exploring this enormous world. I'm a huge fan of open-world games and this didn't disappoint. The Add On pack was harddddd. You need to be a high level before you play those quests. I think my character was on a high level when I started but I still found it difficult, yet still very enjoyable. If you enjoyed this then follow it up with New Vegas to continue on your adventures!

At the seaside
These two add-ons are reckoned to be better than the others available.I don't know, not having played the others, but I found Point Lookout to be excellent value. New types of NPCs, new weapons, a great land/seascape, plenty of swimming, and good quests. Not to mention an all-time-great glitch (clue: check out Haley's Hardware) and a genuinely funny psychotropic plant experience. As for Broken Steel, it's okay, but, with the wonderful exception of Liberty Prime, ultimately sub-standard to the main game. The quests kind of fizzle out, and personally I find Elder Lyons to be the most irritating computer generated character of all time.If you are not quite ready for Fallout:New Vegas, these add-ons are a very adequate stop gap solution.

A must!
Having purchased the actual game, I read to my horror that at the end there was no continuation. So I quickly purchased this add-on and I can tell you how pleased I was that I did. As I'm sure all Fallout3 fans will agree, the map is huge (I haven't even explored 1/2 of it myself yet, despite 2 play throughs). It would be such a shame that so much gameplay, graphics etc is missed by gamers simply because the game ends, and thats where I highly reccomend this expansion pack. Admittedly once you've completed most missions there isn't alot to do, but it'll be a long time before you get to that stage.Broken steel allows you to continue your fight against the enclave with a dramatic conclusionand point lookout added a whole new map to the entire game, which certainly added a different kind of gaming experiance. For Fallout3 fans, THIS IS A MUST!

Loads of crashes
To many crashes . Go buy game of the year edition cause the add ons seem to muck it up . The crashes are every hour it's a joke.

Epic
Fallout 3 is without a doubt one of the most immersive games I've ever played and this expansion stays true to the intentions of the main game. Broken Steel continues the narrative for anyone unhappy with the original ending whilst Point Lookout is a genuinely expansive new area to explore. For the price, it's a must have for any Fallout 3 fan.

not as good as oblivion
after playing oblivion a lot i was very excited about the new bretha software release, however, i was a little disappointed in comparison. As a standalone game it's fine, but being part of the epic developers that make the elder scrolls series, not what it could be.

my comments
to be honest this is an absolute waste of money just buy the game of the year edition as it includes mothership zeta! you cant buy that quest alone its exclusive to that edition of fallout so dont bother with these seperate add ons.
