HQ Advance Products 3-Hole Paper Punch, Assorted Colors (28007)

Not as strong as I would like. The back piece that holds the punches continuously falls off leaving paper holes everywhere. It only can do a few pages at a time, I'd recommend spending a little more and getting a metal or harder plastic one. If you are only using it occasionally, this should be fine.

We've gone through several of these in one school year (middle school) and the year is only half over. The plastic holes that hold the paper punch in the metal binder rings are easily crushed and broken. You're left with a dangling 3 hole binder punch, and eventually, a "floating" 3 hole binder punch that has to be stowed away in a pouch. Defeats the purpose of buying one with rings. But, it does punch neat holes and, aside from the problem with the plastic, it does its job.

As soon as I received the item, a rubbery type material that covers the hole punch fell of. And the metal the hole punch is made of is discolored and has a weird rusting smell to it. Nonetheless, I kept it because it was very cheap. I can't actually comment on how well it works as I have had no use for it yet.

A little stiff, but it gets the job done. Fair price for an item only used occasionally.

You can't punch many sheets at once with this (maybe 5 max) and the soft plastic backing doesn't always catch the punchings, but at least it's inexpensive and fits in a binder as advertised.

*UPDATE 10/28/16* - so it broke after 1.5 months. I think all these products do. Am buying a replacement today but another brand. Hopefully it'll last over 2 months.Bought this for my son since it was on his AVID school supply list. He said that it was so awesome and comes in handy! Seems like decent quality when he showed me how it works. Would recommend.

Plastic hole cracked in the first month. But it is quite useful.
