Kreitler Roller Frame

Top shelf quality, easy to put together and its quiet. I had the wrong belt in the box and folks at MOUNTAIN RACING PRODUCTS, 580 N. WESTGATE DR., GRAND JUNCTION, didn't ask where I bought them or anything else, they just sent me a new belt.

Purchased this frame to replace my "Original" (Made in Kansas by Al himself) compact roller frame that had become a bit rusty from sweat.The stand offs, or "feet" on this frame are actually shorter than the ones on my old "real Kreitler" compact frame.The only problem with the shorter legs is that I have 4.5" drums, and they tend to drag when used on top of a carpeted floor, or in my case a rubber trainer mat on top of a carpeted floor.This frame is also significantly flimsier than my old Kreitler frame. Especially flimsy feeling when unfolding the frame and/or adjusting the wheelbase on the rollers.I have however test ridden other brands of rollers, and given the choice between Kreitler drums on these frames, and the less expensive models my SC or CO, I'd take these Kreitlers every time. The drums and bearings are still the best.I have now sprayed the rusty areas of my old compact frame with rust converter, and repainted them.I will soon be moving my drums back to the Original Kreitler frame.
