I bought this for my husband who does demolition derby and in memory of our son everyone that saw it thought it was so cool

Comfortable and yet fairly light even with the visor and dreads. The visor goes a little low and rubs the bridge of the nose so I have to adjust the helmet every once in a while. True to size. I'm a 7 3/8 and the large fits perfect. Good painting and nice light although it's red (they switched me to an orange helmet at my request).

Love the fit, design and it IS Dot approved in my state for a legal helmet, But, I only gave 4 stars because it is heavy and catches allot of wind. I ride a st glide with 10" wind screen. Wouldn't recommend for open wind bikes

Where to begin?I ordered this helmet on August 6th, I wasn't aware it was coming from Indonesia. I got a shipping notification on the 9th, the tracking from DHL showed no movement for 10 days, it was expected to be delivered on the 17th, but was pushed back to the 24th. So don't be in a rush when you order this. That was a red flag. Due to this being an impulse purchase, I went against my better judgement, and skipped vital research. Bad move.The build quality is subpar, if you have a human sized head. The visor only comes tinted (Once again, a little research would have helped steer me away from this!), so riding at night is not a good idea. The retractable visor doesn't seal the helmet, and hit my glasses, not a good option if you wear glasses, obviously. I was able to get it down after some adjustment, but the visor rides on my nose, very uncomfortable.Since the visor doesn't seal, the amount of wind noise is absolutely insane! Unless you plan on tooling around at just under 35MPH, you should wear earplugs if you plan on keeping this helmet. The fit is awful, according to the sizing chart, I should be wearing an XL, which felt loose at the back and top of my head, but my face was being smashed in the front (Did I mention the glasses?)This helmet is a lot lighter than I expected, which leads me to believe it isn't actually safety rated in any civilized country, that DOT decal looks really sketch, if I'm to be honest. I definitely wouldn't trust this thing to protect my head in a game of dodgeball, let alone a potential crash.I only gave this thing a 3 star rating, simply because of the "WOW" factor, it's definitely a head turner, obviously, I bought it because it was pretty groovy. Being aesthetically pleasing isn't enough, at a price tag of over $300 US, this thing should offer some viable protection.Perhaps a lot more should have gone into building something that provides safety and comfort, instead of appealing to novelty. I could have done without the LED "Laser", had a good helmet instead.After one round trip, I'm returning this paperweight.
